‎===

‎The Porsche 911 GT3 RS purred like a satisfied cat as Shinra pulled through the Jujutsu High gates.

‎Life was good. He was thinking about a shower, maybe a nap, definitely some of that expensive instant ramen he'd bought

‎THUD.

‎The hood dipped.

‎Gojo Satoru was sitting on it. Legs crossed. Holding a bag of Kikufuku mochi like it was a sacred offering.

‎"Shinra! Come with me. Got something for you."

‎Shinra stared at him through the windshield. "I just parked."

‎"And? Parking is temporary. Adventure is forever." Gojo patted the hood. "Nice car, by the way. Very flashy. The higher-ups are gonna hate it."

‎"That's part of the appeal."

‎"Even better. Let's go!"

‎Two minutes later after a nauseating blur of spatial teleportation that made his insides feel like a washing machine Shinra found himself on a misty mountain road.

‎Yuji was next to him, looking green.

‎"Why," Yuji groaned, clutching his stomach, "are we in the mountains?"

‎"Because," Gojo pointed, "we're here for a live demonstration."

‎Shinra followed his gaze.

‎A curse stood in the middle of the road. Small-ish. Angry-looking. Volcano for a head. Literal lava bubbling from the top.

‎Jogo.

‎"Oh great," Shinra muttered. "Volcano-kun."

‎"Shinra, you're the lead actor today." Gojo sat on a nearby rock, already opening his mochi. "Don't get burnt. Yuji, watch and learn."

‎DING!

‎[NEW MISSION: The Uchiha Special]

‎Objective: Show this "volcano" what real flames look like. Hit Jogo with Amaterasu.

‎Reward: Passive Ability: 50% Fire/Heat Resistance

‎Shinra read it. Smiled.

‎Perfect.

‎Jogo's head-vent bubbled angrily. "Another brat? Gojo, do you think I'm a babysitter?!"

‎"He's not just a brat." Gojo offered Yuji a mochi. "You'll find out soon. Good luck, Volcano-kun!"

‎Jogo roared.

‎"DISASTER FLAMES!"

‎He thrust his hands forward. A massive wave of molten lava erupted, turning the asphalt into a river of fire. The heat was insane even from twenty feet away, Shinra could feel his skin tingling.

‎He didn't flinch.

‎EMS activated. Crimson star pattern spun to life. The world slowed.

‎He coated his entire body in Armament Haki, then layered CE reinforcement on top. Double protection. Let's see how hot this guy really is.

‎The lava hit him.

‎Heat exploded around his body. His cloak singed at the edges. But the Haki held. The CE held. He was standing in the middle of a volcanic eruption like it was a warm bath.

‎He walked forward.

‎Through the fire and the lava. The red clouds on his cloak fluttered in the heat-draft, edges smoking but intact.

‎Jogo's eyes went wide.

‎"IMPOSSIBLE!"

‎Shinra blurred.

‎EMS tracked Jogo's panic like reading a children's book. Every flinch. Every micro-movement. The curse might as well have been standing still.

‎He appeared inside Jogo's guard. Cocked his fist.

‎CRACK.

‎Black Flash.

‎Black and red lightning exploded from the impact. His fist connected with Jogo's jaw, and the curse spun through the air like a ragdoll. The sound alone shook the mountainside.

‎Since he unlocked his EMS hitting a black flash became easy for him.

‎But Shinra wasn't done.

‎EMS Sight tracked Jogo's trajectory. Predicted where he'd land. Shinra was already there, waiting, when the curse crashed into the mountainside.

‎"Try this."

‎He held out his palm. Cursed energy spiraled compressed, rotating, unstable.

‎Rasengan.

‎The blue-violet sphere slammed into Jogo's back.

‎The technique wasn't flashy. No explosion. Just grinding, spinning destruction that chewed through Jogo's volcanic core from the inside. The curse screamed a raw, desperate sound as he was driven deeper into the mountain.

‎CRACK. More rock shattered. A massive crater formed around them.

‎Jogo crawled out. His eye was bloodshot. His body flickered.

‎"ENOUGH!"

‎He spread his arms. Cursed energy exploded outward.

‎"DOMAIN EXPANSION: COFFIN OF THE IRON MOUNTAIN!" (A/N: should I use the Japanese name for domains?, like Gaikantetsuisen for jogo or just the English version.)

‎The world dissolved.

‎The mountain road vanished. The trees vanished. Everything became a cavern of glowing magma, infinite and crushing. The heat was enough to melt steel instantly. Shinra felt it even through his Haki, this was dangerous.

‎"Shinra, watch closely," Gojo said, stepping forward. His blindfold was still on. Calm. "This is how you handle a-"

‎"Hold up." Shinra raised a hand. "Let me cook."

‎H was thinking of Using the black flames inside Jogo's own domain as the ultimate disrespect.

‎He looked at Jogo.

‎The curse was grinning now, confident in his domain. "You're finished, brat. Nothing survives my"

‎"Amaterasu."

‎Black flames erupted directly onto Jogo's shoulder.

‎Not red. Not orange. Black. They spread across his volcanic skin like oil on water, eating everything they touched.

‎Jogo screamed.

‎Not from pain from confusion. His own flames couldn't put them out. The black fire just kept burning, consuming his lava, spreading faster the more he tried to fight it.

‎"WHAT IS THIS?! MY FLAMES WON'T!! THEY WON'T"

‎"They're the flames of the sun." Shinra's voice was flat. Cold. "Your volcano's cute and all. But it's not the sun."

‎Jogo thrashed. Tried to extinguish the flames. Nothing worked.

‎Gojo chuckled. Finally lifted his blindfold.

‎"Impressive, Shinra. But let me show you how to properly close a curtain."

‎He raised a hand.

‎"DOMAIN EXPANSION: INFINITE VOID."

‎The volcano vanished. The fire vanished. The mountain vanished.

‎Everything became white.

‎Infinite. Overwhelming. Too much.

‎Shinra's EMS recorded everything the barrier formation, the information saturation, the absolute perfection of Gojo's technique. Through the Sharingan, he could actually see how it worked. The complexity made his brain hurt, but he saw it.

‎Gojo walked through the white void like it was nothing. Reached Jogo frozen, helpless, drowning in infinite knowledge and casually ripped his head off.

‎The domain closed.

‎They were back on the mountain road. Jogo's body crumpled, headless. Still burning from the flame's.

‎Then Hanami erupted from the ground. Grabbed the head. Vanished.

‎Talk about a ground camper let alone a bush camper.

‎Gojo watched them go, not bothering to stop them. "Let them run. Good for morale."

‎Yuji was staring at Shinra with his mouth open. "Dude."

‎"What."

‎"YOU JUST AND THEN THE BLACK FLAMES AND THAT SPINNY THING"

‎"It's called a Rasengan."

‎"THAT'S SO COOL."

‎DING!

‎[MISSION COMPLETE: The Uchiha Special]

‎Reward: 50% Fire/Heat Resistance Unlocked

‎Shinra felt it settle into his bones. Not immunity but close. Half of all fire damage just... didn't matter anymore.

‎Nice.

‎Told you. Good investment.

‎---

‎The next morning, the adrenaline had faded into a lazy Saturday vibe.

‎Shinra pulled the Porsche up to a riverbank, the engine rumbling softly against the concrete embankments. Water flowed past. The sun was out. It was almost peaceful.

‎Yuji hopped out first, scanning the area. "He should be here. Nanami said he comes here sometimes."

‎Shinra followed, fresh cloak on, carrying a bag of Wagyu beef skewers. High-end stuff. Cost more than most people's weekly grocery budget.

‎DING!

‎[NEW MISSION: Soul Savior]

‎Objective: Prevent Junpei Yoshino from being manipulated by Mahito.

‎Reward: 3 Senzu Beans

‎Shinra read it. Pocketed the info.

‎They found him by the water.

‎Junpei Yoshino. Long bangs. Hunched posture. Staring at the river like it owed him money. The exact picture of a kid who hated his life.

‎"Yo! Junpei, right?" Yuji called out, walking over like they'd been friends for years.

‎Junpei looked up. His eyes went wide when he saw the matte-black supercar. Wider when he saw the guy in the Akatsuki cloak.

‎"Who... who are you?"

‎"I'm Yuji. This is Shinra." Yuji sat down next to him like it was the most natural thing in the world. "Nice spot you got here."

‎Shinra held out a Wagyu skewer.

‎"Eat. It's hard to be depressed on an empty stomach."

‎Junpei stared at the skewer. The meat was perfectly grilled. It smelled incredible.

‎He took it.

‎For the next hour, they didn't talk about curses. Didn't talk about death or souls or any of the heavy stuff. They talked about movies.

‎Junpei's eyes lit up when Yuji mentioned a horror film. Turned out the kid was a genuine film buff. He knew directors, cinematography, the whole deal. Yuji knew enough to keep up. Shinra chimed in with "reviews" from his previous life that sounded like professional critiques.

‎It worked. Junpei actually smiled.

‎The tension broke when a woman walked down the path. Kind face. Cigarette between her fingers. She looked at the scene her son, sitting with two strangers, actually happy and her face softened.

‎"Junpei? Who are your friends?"

‎Junpei jumped up. "Mom! They're... they're from another school. We were just talking about movies."

‎Nagi Yoshino looked at the Porsche. At Shinra's cloak. At her son's rare, genuine smile.

‎She beamed.

‎"Well, any friends of Junpei are welcome for dinner. We're having ginger pork." She tilted her head. "You boys coming?"

‎Yuji looked at Shinra.

‎Shinra smiled.

‎"Wouldn't miss it for the world."
