Xingxiao fixed her gaze on Kiana and stated the fact calmly.
"As fellow Emanators of the Ravager God, the concentration of blessing on you far surpasses what I once possessed."
Kiana did not deny it. She merely summoned Judgment of Shamash into her hand and gripped it tightly.
"So? Are you going to retreat?"
Xingxiao shook her head. "Retreat? You've appeared here, and yet you have no intention of joining me in destroying this place?"
In Xingxiao's eyes, Kiana was also an Emanator of Destruction. She should have been carrying out the grand act of destruction alongside her.
Although Kiana had just saved Herta and Ruan Mei, Xingxiao still decided to give this colleague an opportunity to explain herself.
Throughout her long career of destruction, disagreements between fellow Emanators over goals or methods were nothing unusual.
Phantylia, for instance, was always obsessed with toying with hearts rather than pursuing destruction in its purest form.

"Do you even understand what you're saying?" Xingxiao's voice remained calm, but the fluctuations of Destruction around her grew stronger and stronger.
"As an Emanator of the Ravager God, and yet you call a mortal dwelling your home?"
Kiana found that baffling.
Was that really so strange? She refused to believe that these Lord Ravagers never settled down anywhere to rest.
"What's wrong with that?"
Her question made Xingxiao's gaze go utterly cold.
Slowly, Xingxiao raised her hand. "I understand now. You are not a lost kin. You are a traitor."
"You enjoy the Ravager God's blessing, yet refuse to fulfill Destruction's duty. You—"
Her words cut off abruptly, because Kiana had already moved.

Golden flames erupted where Xingxiao had stood, swallowing the rest of her sentence whole.
There was no helping it. The expression Xingxiao had been wearing just now had been completely off. One look said she was about to turn hostile.
Since negotiations had failed, there was no reason for Kiana to bother with fair play.
Still, Xingxiao's reaction was swift. She had already retreated the instant Kiana attacked, though the blaze still grazed her shoulder.
Xingxiao's eyes widened sharply.
That strike had been even stronger than she'd expected.
But Kiana gave her no time whatsoever to recover.
She raised Judgment of Shamash and charged again at once.
This time, Xingxiao said nothing further.
A vast power of Destruction exploded from within her, and at the same time, the harmonies of Harmony once again began to echo through the starry sky.
The forces of two Paths fused perfectly within her. This was her true strength now.
Against Herta and Ruan Mei, she hadn't even used her full power.
Kiana's eyes grew slightly more serious.
"Now that's more like it."
In the next instant, both of them vanished from where they stood.

The Herrscher of the Void's authority allowed her to move freely through every corner of space, while the blessings of Destruction made every one of her attacks carry the force to shatter all things.
With numbers and mechanics like that, there were probably only a handful of opponents in the entire galaxy who could match her current self.
Even Xingxiao, after receiving Nanook's upgrade, was not one of them.
Another clash sent Xingxiao reeling backward once more.
But Kiana didn't stop there. Her eyes sharpened, and the Herrscher of the Void's authority activated again.
In an instant, countless spatial rifts opened around Xingxiao, and lances of subspace poured down like a storm.
Xingxiao's expression changed. The melodies of Harmony rose frantically, trying to disrupt the trajectory of those attacks.
But this time, her harmonies failed.
The lances were utterly unaffected, piercing her defenses with flawless precision.
Slash, slash, slash—
Xingxiao staggered backward through the cosmos, several fresh wounds opening across her body.
And of course, Kiana had no intention of giving her even a second to breathe.
A moment later, she came rushing in again with Judgment of Shamash in hand.
"Still want to keep going?" Kiana asked as she continued to suppress Xingxiao.
After trading countless blows, Kiana had more or less figured out Xingxiao's current level.
She had to admit it—Nanook really was generous. The extra blessings Xingxiao had received this time had been enough to let her overwhelm two geniuses with ease.
But if one calculated carefully, Xingxiao was still just a bit below Polka's level.
If Kiana didn't use Shamash: Zero, she wasn't completely certain she could keep Xingxiao from escaping.
But this wasn't the Simulated Universe. She was still somewhat worried that one large-area attack might wipe out the entire space station.
Driving Xingxiao away would be enough.
Xingxiao pressed a hand to her wounds, her expression growing complicated.
If they kept fighting, she would lose.
But the resolve of an Emanator of Destruction absolutely forbade retreat.
Now that she had once more received the Ravager God's blessing, she had to eradicate this traitor before her at any cost.
"You are strong."
"But if you shelter this place today, then one day you will pay the price for it."
Kiana just shrugged carelessly. "Then I'll deal with that day when it comes."
Judging by Xingxiao's demeanor, was she about to retreat?
But from the way she held herself, Kiana didn't think that was quite it.
Clearly, the battle between them was not over yet.

Just as Kiana and Xingxiao were preparing to continue, the entire starfield suddenly froze.
At that same moment, both Lord Ravagers felt a pressure descend directly from the Path itself.

Without any warning, a figure vast enough to eclipse the heavens abruptly appeared at the center of the battlefield, as though He had always been standing there and only now had been permitted to be seen.
