The queen bee's wings hummed like thunder, when landing time had come. Sienna chose the closest space to the flower garden near her cottage. The force of the wind create by the wings caused petals to rise and scatter. The shadow of the queen bee frightened servants who had long been expecting the arrival of the creature. Some dropped their tools in horror, while others raced to save the laundry hanging outside because Sienna insisted on clothes being sun dried!
The bee's legs touched down with a tremor that rattled the cottages. Blossoms bent under its weight.
Mrs. Miller nearly had a heart attack when she saw who was sliding down from the bee's back. She had been sleeping, and this resulted in her missing the live stream. Signs of sleep still clung to her eyes.
Sienna stretched her arms out to her daughter. "Come on little fox, we are home now."
Ali clung to the back of the bee. "Mama, again! Again! Let's fly one more circle."
