Before Elias could stop the guards, the gates were rammed open forcefully. The guards yelled loudly, as if they had come to carry out a raid. They were like vikings, rising from the sea with weapons.
Sienna cheered them on, through the open window of the car. The more chaos, the better!
The cars drove beyond the detached main manor, following the path which led to the stand alone villas, occupied by the different side branches of the Twindell family. The one occupied by Lady Cadelaria's family was a modest residence, with carved stone arches and gilded windows proclaiming wealth without the grandeur of the main manor.
It was fair to say that all the Twindell's lived comfortably. There was no need for them to covet the wealth of another family, except for greed.
Sienna screamed into her phone, "Blow the horns."
Elias pulled her back, wrapping his arms and tails around her. "You need to calm down."
She laughed. "Never. Hahaha."
