"Master, you're alright? Thank goodness. With you missing suddenly, I didn't know what to do!!" Suddenly, Red Queen started listing her problems.
"Ok, Red Queen, we can talk later."
"Hi, Red, I am Emma Walker, your future sister." Seeing Red Queen's holographic form appear, she said with a happy voice.
"Sister? I don't have any Sister. Who are you? Why did you attack my master?" Red Queen asked with an angry voice.
"I am Dad's daughter, so you are my elder sister."
"What? Master, when did you have a child without telling me?"
"Red, you will understand it later. Don't ask any questions right now, as even I don't know."
"Ahh." Red Queen was puzzled. Why didn't even master know if he had a daughter? Is he like those Playboys I read about on the internet? She even imagined a whole movie scene where he was a scumbag.
"So, your name is Emma Walker. It's a good name." Jack truly hadn't completely come out of this future daughter situation.
"So how did you come to the past?" Jack asked the question he wanted to know most.
Hearing this, the girl thought for a moment.
"In the future, there seems to be a war that suddenly started, and all the people were fighting."
Jack listened quietly.
"I also asked dad to fight alongside him, but he didn't take me, saying I was a kid. So I was alone, staying with grandma and grandpa."
"Grandma and grandpa, huh," Jack muttered to himself, but didn't stop her.
"Then one day, feeling bored, I called Morgan Stark, who was the same age as me, to play outside, as even her father was very busy with this war. So we both were enjoying our day in a park in New York."
"Ok, so far so normal," Jack said.
"Then suddenly a blue-faced weirdo attacked us both."
"Of course he did."
"But since Morgan had a suit and I used the Omnitrix, we were able to fight him. But in the fight, we damaged a device he had, and suddenly, both Morgan and I fell into a tunnel that was created by that device, and the next thing we both were here."
Hearing this, Jack felt what a cliché way to travel.
"Wait." Jack held up a hand. "So Tony Stark's daughter also came with you to the past?"
"Yes."
"Then where is she now?"
"Since we figured out we were in the past, she went to see her father. Like me."
Jack felt things were going very wrong hearing that.
"Don't you know, changing the past is very dangerous? We should find her soon." Jack said immediately, as he didn't know what would happen if the future and past intersected.
"We know, and this is not the first time we've traveled to the past. We have a time travel device too." She said with a face that showed that time travel was just a regular trip to her.
Jack stared at her for a second. "Then can't you just leave the past? I thought for a second you were stuck here."
He felt a little better for a moment. Then she opened her mouth again.
"Well, yes, I had a time travel device, but just a few months ago, future dad confiscated it, saying I was playing with it. And took some more items from me too, saying they were dangerous." She said with annoyance.
Jack closed his eyes. "Ok. So no device."
"Since the future has a time machine, there will be a rescue from the future, right?" Jack asked, trying one more time.
"I don't know when they will find out we are missing, and sometimes even a day in the future is years in the past without syncing both times." She paused. "So I came to ask Dad to help me build a time machine."
"Me?" Jack pointed at himself. "I have zero idea how to create one right now."
"It's ok, I have a little idea, and with dad researching it fully, I have no doubt he can do it." She smiled. "But until then, I will be staying here. At least I don't have to go to school, yay."
Seeing the girl excited about not going to school, Jack felt his peaceful days were going to be over.
"Ok, first things first," Jack said. "I think we should find your friend Morgan Stark. Her father didn't even build his Iron Man suit yet, and he is still a playboy right now. If she goes to him now, I think it will create some problems."
"Come on, Dad, we are not idiots." Emma rolled her eyes. "We know that we should not change the past or tell future information to past people. So she'll just see her parents and come back, not going to tell her identity."
"Then why did future me tell you to come to me specifically—"
"Future dad told me that if one day he was not there to help, I could ask his past self." She said it simply like it were obvious.
Jack went quiet for a moment. "Does my future self know you would come to the past?"
"I don't know."
Jack let out a slow breath. Timelines, future, past, it was a pain in the ass. Too many things in it and he really didn't understand a thing fully.
"Hope it's not like that DC Flash thing. I don't want any bigger problems in this universe from time problems." Jack thought, looking at Emma, who was already back to chatting with Red Queen like she didn't just flip his entire life upside down.
