A couple of hours had already passed since the battle of the monsters and Farmers began, and about a quarter and half of the five hundred farmers were already slaughtered.
Even if they had talents and fighting skills, not every person was on the offensive attack type.
In this Framer world, there were different combat types based on talents and specialty; offensive, defensive, mage, support, and fighter.
Of course, the majority of the Farmers who had died were all under the support type, this is because with the large numbers of monsters attacking, there was no one to protect them.
Aegon and his team rushed away to safety, but no place was actually safe. For every corner they turned to, there were monsters.
"I don't think I can take this anymore!" Sheila cried out.
She was holding her staff in her hands, her breath shaking heavily from all the running. She was a mage, but on the support side.
Out of the seven of them, it was only Nyra, Sinon, Chrome and Natsu that were fighting.
Aegon and the seventh person were being protected by the rest. It was only expected, as Aegon was carrying the luggages of his own party and the latter was carrying the luggage of Sinon.
'This is really turning into something else." Aegon thought inwardly.
While at the back of the team, he scanned through everyone.
Natsu and Chrome were both fighting fiercely, Natsu was in a berserk trigger state in a breast like form.
His hair had turned white, claws in his hands and had ears like that of a cat. He was already in the form of a man beast, smashing the wolves with his claws, but the form had a flaw that drops his health as he uses it.
On the other hand, Chrome had an iron skin that makes him display superhuman strength. This is a talent that makes the skin as tense as bronze.
With pure brute force he was able to punch the wolves to their death, however the form had a time limit as he always went back to normal after every three minutes of use.
Nyra had a long chain on her which she used to fight. She was on the Fighter Type side, which are those who use certain kinds of weapons for combat and not their talent.
Although, most people can use both, in the event that the talent is compatible with the talent.
For example; a person whose talent is fire manipulation and carried a sword can always infuse the said sword with flames, assuming the skill is learnt.
However, in the case of Nyra she only used the chain without involving her talent. It was a long chain and she was very skilled with it.
To kill a wolf, she would wrap them in the chain and use its edge, which had a knife, to kill the trapped wolf.
And on other occasions she would wrap their legs and send them to Sinon; who would use her sword to kill them.
Sinon was dressed in light armor, wielding a metal sword in her hands like that of a knight. She was a Fighter Type too.
While they all fought, if there was anyone who got injured, or in the case of Natsu and Chrome who had time limits for rest and needed healing, they had Sheila.
Shelia was the only mage in the team, and was on the support type. She treated them if they had minor injuries, that could be healed under less time.
However, if it was a massive injury; she would have to cast a spell which would take a lot of mana and time because she didn't have the suitable rank yet.
In Nyra's party, Nyra was the only person in the D-rank top stage, while the other four were in the E-rank middle stage.
Sinon on the other hand was in D-rank middle stage, a stage lower than Nyra.
In this world power system, there are six ranks when ranking a Farmer and their Talents, and the rank ranges from E to S.
E, D, C, B, A, and S
E being the weakest and S the strongest; this is for ranking Farmers.
However, when it comes to ranking Talents, there were three stages they would have to go through before they can advance into another rank.
These stages are the Initial Stage, Middle Stage, and Top Stage. The initial stage being the lowest stage of that rank, and Top being the highest stage of that rank.
In this world, the strongest make the rules and are feared by the weak. Not everyone awakens a strong rank but can always evolve them over time.
Many Farmers adopt the single method to increase their ranks, but it's not something that can be done easily.
For a person's rank to increase from a single stage into another is very difficult, and from a particular rank to another rank, much more difficult.
A D-rank Farmer is more stronger than an E-rank farmer. The power scale is as far as the heavens from earth.

Aegon stood behind with Sheila and the other, he was amazed by the way the others fought bravely.
Of course, they already had experiences in fighting monsters from their various ventures in the abyss, so this was the least of their worries.
Aegon looked up and stared at the first image in the sky, then at the second image.
"Sixteen hours left…" he mumbled. "At this rate, we are not going to make it on time."
He looked back down and to his shock a single wolf had slipped past the team at the front.
"Watch out!"
Sinon screamed as she saw the wolf running towards Aegon. There was no time for her to react, as the speed of the wolf was incredibly fast.
"Oh no!" Shelia screamed.
Aegon stared as he saw the wolf charging at full speed towards him, and in a blink of an eye, it jumped on him pushing him to the ground.
Nyra saw this and was about to react with her chain but she was surrounded by more wolves, making her hands tied.
The others were also busy with their own fights and couldn't make a rescue, in their minds; it was already over for Aegon.
On the ground, Aegon was struggling with the wolf, trying as much as possible to prevent it from biting his head off, while pushing its shoulders back.
In this moment, he could see the fangs of the wolf and the saliva mixed around them ranting for a taste.
Aegon's soul had almost left his body while he thought:
'Is this how I am going to die?'
He had died once, transmigrated, and was basically dead for a whole three years but, woke up.
However, now he was actually going to die?
The thought crossed his mind and just then a slight image appeared in his head.
It was the face of Maureen, his sister. Seeing her beauty and caring face, Aegon's expression changed.
'There's no way I am dying here, not while I still have something to do, I refuse to accept this fate. If fate is a shackle, I will break it with my own hands.'
Saying this inwardly with his whole heart, he used all his strength to push the wolf creating a distance when suddenly he heard a familiar but strange sound.

In between Aegon and the wolf a translucent window appeared and Aegon noticed it immediately, saying inwardly.

Just then another window appeared.
