Two days later, the airship slowly landed at the airport in the Padokea Republic.

Leo walked out of the terminal carrying simple luggage, his gaze immediately cast toward the city center.

There, a giant tower so towering it seemed to pierce the heavens stood between the earth and sky—Heavens Arena.

It was the fourth tallest building in the world, the Holy Land in the hearts of martial artists, and a stage where the dreams and ambitions of countless fighters intertwined.

Leo stood in the square outside the airport, gazing into the distance at the giant tower, an uncontrollable excitement surging within his chest.

"This is the charm of the Hunter World..." he muttered to himself, the corners of his mouth rising involuntarily.

Without delay, he hailed a taxi and headed straight for the district where the arena was located.

As the distance closed, the details of the giant tower became clearer—the gray-white exterior walls shone with a cold, hard luster under the sunlight, countless windows arranged like a honeycomb, and the top looming indistinctly in the clouds.

Around the tower was a bustling commercial district, the crowd like weaving threads, with fighters wearing various martial arts uniforms and sporting different expressions visible everywhere.

At the main entrance of the arena, the crowd was even denser. Leo looked up at the tall arch, took a deep breath, and stepped inside.

The interior was even more boisterous than he had imagined.

A dozen giant screens hung in all directions, broadcasting the matches on various floors in real-time.

Cheers, shouts, the impassioned tone of the commentators, the muffled sounds of fists and feet colliding... all these sounds mixed together, creating a unique, adrenaline-pumping atmosphere.

The long queue in front of the registration desk wound its way to the other side of the atrium, with at least several hundred people waiting by visual estimation.

Leo was in no rush to join the queue.

He turned and walked toward the spectator area of the first-floor ring, finding a seat with a good view.

Since he was here, he might as well observe the skill level here first.

He sat there for three days.

During these three days, he moved between the rings on various floors.

From the brute force and speed-reliant clashes on the first floor, to the fighting styles on the fiftieth floor that gradually showed the rudiments of technique, to the martial artists above the hundredth floor who possessed exquisite skills even without understanding Nen Ability.

He silently observed, dismantled, and absorbed the essence of those techniques honed through countless real battles.

The footwork of a veteran boxer, the grappling timing of a wrestler... although these techniques were not as magical as Nen Ability, they were the essence polished through countless real combat experiences.

"This trip was certainly worth it," Leo praised inwardly.

"Even without understanding Nen Ability, these battle-hardened techniques contain powerful strength and are worth learning from."

As an Enhancer, close-quarters combat would be his primary fighting style.

These techniques could greatly enrich his attack methods, giving him more options when facing different opponents.

After the three-day observation period ended, Leo walked toward the registration desk.

The line was still long, but it was moving at a decent speed. Half an hour later, it was his turn.

"Name?"

"Leo."

"Age?"

"Eighteen."

The staff member mechanically recorded his information and handed him a number tag: "Number 2026. Go over there and wait to be called."

Leo took the number tag and walked to the designated waiting area.

It was crowded with all kinds of contestants: muscular tough guys, agile young people, veterans with sharp eyes, and newcomers who were clearly participating for the first time and nervously rubbing their hands.

The wait was not long. About twenty minutes later, the broadcast sounded.

"Contestant 2026 and Contestant 1745, please proceed to Ring E."

Leo stood up and walked onto the ring with a relaxed expression.

His opponent was a muscular, burly man over two meters tall, with dark skin and a hideous tattoo on his bald head.

Seeing Leo's relatively "frail" figure, the burly man grinned, revealing a contemptuous smile.

The spectator stands instantly erupted with excited shouts and mockery:

"Bahl! Crush that kid!"

"One round! One round!"

"Kid, it's not too late to surrender now!"

The referee walked to the center of the ring and announced the rules routinely: "...Match start!"

Bahl was just about to say some trash talk, but the next instant—

A hand shadow flashed by.

The smile on Bahl's face froze, his eyes rolled back, and his massive body crashed to the ground, kicking up a cloud of dust.

The whole arena was silent for a second.

Immediately, an even louder uproar erupted:

"What just happened?!"

"I didn't even see it!"

"A one-hit KO?!"

The referee was also stunned for a moment, then reacted and stepped forward to check.

After confirming that Bahl was merely unconscious, he tapped a few times on the machine in his hand, and a receipt printed out.

"Contestant 2026, you go to the 50th floor." The referee handed the receipt to Leo.

"Thank you." Leo smiled, took it, and walked off the ring.

Just after stepping off the ring, even louder cheers came from another ring not far away.

Leo turned to look—a blue-haired woman was retracting her right leg after a kick.

Her opponent had already flown out of the ring and was unconscious after hitting the protective railing.

The woman had a slender figure, wore a red martial arts uniform, and had an exquisite face but cold eyes.

"Number 1997, you are promoted directly to the 50th floor." The referee of that ring announced.

The woman bowed slightly, took the receipt, and turned to walk off the ring.

Her movements were crisp and clean, with no extra expression.

Leo raised an eyebrow slightly. He hadn't seen this face in the original work; judging by the power and speed of that kick, her strength was not weak.

The two of them walked toward the elevator area almost at the same time.

Inside the elevator, a receptionist in uniform introduced the rules to them:

"In this building, every ten floors are considered one level up to the 200th floor."

"That is to say, a contestant who wins on the 50th floor can be promoted to the 60th floor. If defeated, they will be demoted to the 40th floor."

"In addition, every match has a corresponding prize money; the higher the floor, the higher the prize money."

With a "ding," the elevator reached the 50th floor.

The blue-haired woman walked out first, and Leo followed unhurriedly behind.

The layout of the 50th floor was similar to the first floor, but it was more spacious and the decor was more exquisite.

There were several rings in the center, surrounded by spectator stands and contestant rest areas.

Leo walked to the reception desk. The receptionist behind the window showed a professional smile:

"Welcome! Are you Ms. Sophia and Mr. Leo? Please show your receipts."

So her name was Sophia.

Leo handed over his receipt and simultaneously took the envelope handed by the receptionist.

Opening it to look, inside were a few coins, totaling 150 Jeni, which was the base prize money for a winner on the first floor.

Sophia bowed slightly: "Thank you." She took her prize money and turned to leave, not sparing Leo another glance.

Leo put away his prize money and walked toward the contestant rest area on the 50th floor.

Quite a few people were already sitting here; some were resting with their eyes closed, some were warming up, and some were discussing tactics in low voices.

He found a seat in the corner and sat down, waiting quietly.

About half an hour later, the broadcast sounded:

"Mr. Leo, Mr. Damian, please proceed to Ring C on the 55th floor."

Leo stood up and followed the signs to the designated ring.

The spectator stands on the 55th floor were almost full, and the atmosphere was even more heated than on the 50th floor.

On the big screen by the ring, video clips of both parties' previous matches were playing: Leo's hand blade flashed and his opponent fell, while Damian used a hard headbutt to knock his opponent flying with one strike.

The commentator's voice resonated throughout the floor via the loudspeaker:

"Everyone! Sorry to keep you waiting! This upcoming battle will definitely be exciting!"

"Mr. Leo's strikes are as fast as lightning; with one flash of his hand blade, his opponent falls right on cue! And Mr. Damian uses his incredibly hard headbutt to knock his opponent flying with a single strike!"

"Everyone, are you ready to place your bets? Then, press the buttons now!"

A burst of intensive button-pressing sounds rang out.

The big screen displayed the betting results: Leo's odds were lower, indicating more people favored him.

"It seems everyone favors Mr. Leo more!" the commentator shouted excitedly, "This match will be held in a three-minute, three-round, point-based knockout format!"

The referee walked to the center of the ring and waved his hand: "Start!"

Damian immediately lowered his center of gravity and assumed a charging stance. But Leo's speed was faster—

Still a hand blade.

Damian didn't even have time to take the first step before everything went black, and he fell directly to the ground.

From the start of the match to the end, it took less than two seconds.

The commentator was stunned for a second, then erupted with an even louder shout.

"Ah! Mr. Leo wins with one strike again! This speed! This precision!"

The referee stepped forward to check, confirmed that Damian had fainted, stood up, and announced: "Mr. Leo wins by KO!"

The spectator stands erupted in an uproar mixed with amazement and disappointment. Some people had made money, while others had lost money.

Leo took the receipt handed by the referee—it read "Promoted to the 60th floor, prize money 80,000 Jeni."

Heavens Arena rules state that a contestant can only fight a maximum of two matches per day.

Leo had finished his matches for today.

He walked off the ring, pushed through the noisy crowd, and headed for the elevator.

After three days of observation, he had a general understanding of the average level of contestants on the first hundred floors—for him now, they were indeed too weak.

But this was normal; the skilled fighters were all above the hundredth floor.

The elevator went down, returning to the first-floor lobby.

When Leo walked out of the arena, it was already dusk.

He needed to find a place to stay.

There were many hotels around the arena specifically catering to contestants, with prices ranging from cheap to luxurious.

Leo chose a mid-range one and paid for the room with today's prize money.

The room was simple and clean, with a private bathroom.

Leo took a shower and changed into casual clothes.

He lay on the bed, closing his eyes to review today's matches.

Those two opponents were too weak; he hadn't even used one percent of his strength.

But that was fine too; he could slowly adapt to the rhythm of the arena and observe more opponents.

"Starting tomorrow, I won't use Nen Ability until I reach the 200th floor," Leo muttered to himself.

With a level 25 body, plus his Awakening of Nen, his true strength could allow him to fight directly to the 200th floor and beyond.

But he was not in a rush.

Heavens Arena was not just a place for making money and leveling up; it was also an excellent place to accumulate combat experience and polish fighting techniques.

He wanted to build a solid foundation here to prepare for more dangerous challenges ahead.

Outside the window, the lights of Heavens Arena lit up floor by floor, resembling a giant pillar of light in the night, pointing straight at the starry sky.

Leo turned off the light, and the room plunged into darkness.

Tomorrow, the matches would continue.
