"How long are you going to sulk for?"
"I'm not sulking!" I snapped, turning to scowl at Kol.
We were on our way back from the prison and now stuck in terrible traffic. Kol had his full attention on me. He'd been staring since we left, even though he was the one driving.
I still didn't understand how he managed that and kept his eyes on the road at the same time.
Maybe some kind of superpower separate from being a werewolf. I wouldn't know. I couldn't even drive to begin with.
"But you are," he insisted.
"I said I'm not," I repeated.
"Fine," he muttered. He snatched his phone from the cup holder, snapped a quick picture before I could stop him, and tossed the phone onto my lap.
"Be the judge."
My nostrils flared as I glanced down despite myself. The photo was damning.
My lower lip was pushed out in a full, childish pout, and my eyebrows were drawn together so tightly they formed a deep, angry crease.
Heat rushed up my neck and flooded my cheeks.
