After defeating the wolves, Arif walked deeper into the forest.
The sunlight barely reached the ground because of the thick trees.
"Where exactly am I supposed to go?" Arif murmured.
Suddenly, his Shadow Sense skill activated.
[Warning: Danger nearby.]
Arif stopped walking.
A huge footprint appeared on the ground.
It was much larger than the wolves.
"Something big lives here…"
But before he could think more, he saw a small road leading out of the forest.
"Finally… maybe this leads to a town."
Arif quickly followed the path.
His journey in the new world was about to change.
Chapter 7: The First Town
After walking for hours, Arif finally saw a wooden gate.
Behind it was a small town filled with people.
Merchants were shouting, children were running, and guards were standing at the entrance.
"This place… looks like a fantasy game city."
One of the guards looked at him.
"Hey, you! Where did you come from?"
Arif quickly replied, "I got lost in the forest."
The guard looked at him suspiciously but finally allowed him to enter.
As Arif stepped inside the town, he realized something.
"This world… is bigger than I imagined."
Chapter 8: The Adventurer Guild
While walking through the town, Arif noticed a large building.
A big sign hung above the door.

"This sounds important," Arif said.
Inside the building, many warriors and mages were talking loudly.
A woman behind the counter looked at him.
"Welcome to the Adventurer Guild. Are you here to register?"
Arif thought for a moment.
If he wanted to survive in this world, he needed money and information.
"Yes," he replied.
The woman smiled.
"Then welcome, new adventurer."
Chapter 9: The First Quest
After registering, Arif received a small metal card.

"Your first quests will be simple," the guild worker explained.
She placed a paper on the table.
Quest: Hunt 5 Forest Wolves
Reward: 50 Silver Coins
Arif smiled slightly.
"Wolves again? That's easy."
But before leaving, another adventurer laughed.
"Kid, don't get too confident. Many beginners die in the forest."
Arif ignored him.
With the Shadow System, he wasn't an ordinary adventurer.
Chapter 10: Hidden Potential
Arif returned to the forest at night.
The darkness made the forest even more dangerous.
But for him… it was perfect.
"Shadows make me stronger," he said quietly.
Suddenly five wolves appeared from the darkness.
Arif didn't panic.
He activated Shadow Step and moved like a ghost.
One by one, the wolves fell.
Finally, the system screen appeared.

Arif looked at the glowing skill name and smiled.
His power was growing faster than he expected.

Arif looked at the glowing screen in front of him.

A dark energy slowly gathered in his hand.
Suddenly a sharp blade made of pure shadow appeared.
Arif stared at it in shock.
"So this is my new power…"
He swung the blade through the air.
The shadow blade cut a tree branch instantly.
"Wow… this is stronger than I thought."
But at that moment, Shadow Sense activated again.
[Danger approaching.]
Something powerful was coming.
Chapter 12: The Hidden Enemy
The forest suddenly became silent.
Arif slowly turned around.
From the darkness, a huge monster appeared.
It was twice the size of a wolf, with sharp claws and glowing eyes.

Arif felt the pressure immediately.
"So this is the boss…"
The monster roared and charged toward him.
Arif quickly activated Shadow Step and dodged.
"Fast… but not faster than me."
He raised his Shadow Blade.

The Alpha Wolf attacked again and again.
Each strike was powerful enough to break bones.
Arif barely dodged the claws.
"Too strong…"
But he didn't give up.
Using Shadow Step, he moved behind the monster and slashed with the Shadow Blade.
The blade cut the monster's side.
The Alpha Wolf roared in pain.
"Good! It can be hurt!"
Arif prepared for the final attack.

The monster jumped toward Arif with full force.
At the last second, Arif activated Shadow Step.
He disappeared into the shadows.
Then he appeared behind the monster.
"Shadow Blade!"
He slashed with all his strength.
The blade cut deep into the monster.
The Alpha Wolf collapsed.
The system screen appeared.

Arif breathed heavily.
"That was… intense."

The next morning, Arif returned to the town.
He went straight to the Adventurer Guild.
When he showed the Alpha Wolf's fang as proof, the guild worker looked shocked.
"You defeated a Forest Alpha?"
Other adventurers started whispering.
"That's impossible for an F-rank…"
The guild worker smiled.
"Congratulations, Arif. Your rank has been promoted."

Arif looked at his new rank card.
This was just the beginning.
Somewhere in this world, stronger enemies were waiting.
And Arif would defeat them all.
