Chapter 21 - Chapter 21. Performance (2)

The next day, Hayato walked into the classroom.

Seeing his desk covered in scribbles, he smiled incredibly happily.

He walked closer, confirming their elaborate creations: Pervert, trash, nerd, die, useless guy.

The students at this school need to improve their swearing skills.

Hayato sighed and shook his head.

Doesn't calling him a Pervert just make him happier?

But it was a good thing that he was the one experiencing this; if it were an ordinary student, they would probably feel scared or pained.

After all...

He looked around.

No one offered him an explanation; everyone in the classroom seemed like an enemy.

There was also some strange liquid on the desk; could it be water from the toilet or glue or something?

Hayato couldn't be bothered.

He had been observing these past few days, and he had a rough idea of who was doing it and who would do those things.

He directly lifted the desk with one hand and walked towards the target location.

"Bastard, what do you want?"

Seeing that the script didn't align with some people's expectations, someone came out to cause trouble.

Nakamaki Road walked over aggressively, as if to suppress the resistance, with a gust of wind behind him.

His reaction immediately made some students in the class uneasy, and they looked over nervously.

Idiots.

Hayato controlled his strength, not bothering to greet the other party, and kicked him.

Bang.

Nakamaki Road, who occasionally only bullied those who dared not resist young men, couldn't react in time and was kicked in the stomach. The immense force was steady, causing him to retreat uncontrollably repeatedly, then crash heavily into the wall.

Although he seemed not to have suffered much impact, he suddenly hunched over, stomach acid surged up his esophagus, and saliva flowed out uncontrollably, despite him trying to cover his mouth.

"Ishikawa!!"

Seeing his companion injured and his own status challenged,

Shigeno Ryoyu, who was in the same club as Nakamaki Road, also rushed over, but he didn't make a move, just stood a few steps in front of Hayato.

He had a sharp look that said, 'If you lay a hand on him, I'll kill you.'

"Alright, alright, we're all classmates, no fighting. Ishikawa-kun, put the desk back."

Kawakami Satoshi came out to mediate.

Ishikawa glanced at him. This person was in the same club as those two.

Kawakami Satoshi spread his arms, as if persuading the two to shake hands and make up.

But as he approached Hayato, he suddenly reached out and slapped the back of Hayato's head.

Hayato had been watching him, so he naturally didn't miss his movement.

A petty trick. He had seen others being teased like this before, bullied by people who slapped the back of their heads.

Later, Hayato asked him how he felt.

He said his head felt foggy.

He didn't expect people to still play these games in high school.

Hayato's other free hand struck back heavily.

"Ugh ah ah ah."

Kawakami Satoshi let out a tragic wail, clutching his hand and rolling on the ground.

Hayato glanced at Shigeno Ryoyu. Shigeno Ryoyu's foot, which had just started to move, retracted, and he stood frozen in place.

He was completely stunned.

Finally, he walked in front of the person who had scribbled on his desk, or rather, the instigator.

She... Kuroda Aya, sat trembling in her seat.

She was clearly frightened by Hayato's recent actions.

"Ishikawa-kun, is something wrong?"

"Can we switch desks?"

Hayato asked gently.

But his gentle tone seemed to give her courage, and she suddenly stood up.

"I have no obligation to switch desks with you!"

"But these are things Kuroda-kun left behind; it's okay to switch, isn't it?"

Hayato continued to speak politely.

"That's what you get. Scum like you should die."

Kuroda Aya seemed to think Hayato wouldn't lay a hand on her and suddenly burst out, like a shrew, pointing at Hayato's nose and scolding him, as if trying to kill him with words.

Hayato got the result he wanted, then, under her terrified gaze, he lifted her up and threw her to the ground.

She fell heavily to the ground, stunned for a while before staring at Hayato with horrified eyes.

"I don't go easy on anyone, male or female."

Hayato patted the desk and reminded her with a smile.

Then, with his other hand, he lifted her desk, put his own desk back, and even the liquid on the desk didn't flow off.

"Kuroda-kun, sit properly on the desk later. Otherwise, don't cry if I hit you."

"I've practiced, I know how to hit people where it hurts."

Hayato left these words, then carried the desk back to his seat, placed it properly, and disdainfully took out a piece of paper to wipe it... By the time Hayato carried his desk back to his seat, Kita had already arrived.

She looked at the scene and immediately understood the situation.

So it was... like this.

She remembered

what Manager Hoshika had asked her when she returned to STARRY that morning, ready to go home after the photoshoot.

"Kita, you're in the same class as Ishikawa, right? What kind of person is he at school?"

Manager Hoshika was as usual, without much expression, but Kita felt the atmosphere was a bit heavy.

Manager Hoshika really cared about Ijiichi-senpai.

She thought for a moment. Although she hadn't been in school for long, Hayato's various reputations were quite attention-grabbing.

"He's a diligent student, I guess. Hayato-kun barely interacts with others, and even when someone invites him to eat lunch together, he always refuses."

"Eh?"

Hearing their conversation, Nijika, who had also come closer to listen, cried out softly in surprise.

"Is Hayato-kun that kind of person?"

She was used to Hayato's chaotic, lively demeanor and was a bit slow to process this.

"Yes."

Kita nodded, confirming it, but seeing Ryo-senpai also paying attention, she hesitated.

"Um, actually there's also... my friend found out some things about Hayato-kun's past."

"Although I can't say if it's good or bad, and it's quite improper to talk about it privately... but since we're all in the same Band, it should be fine to mention it..."

Her conflicted gaze shifted, then, seeing the three's more serious expressions, she took a shallow breath.

"School bullying, I think everyone knows about it, right?"

The three of them nodded slightly. Manager Hoshika frowned, Nijika looked worried, and Ryo-senpai stared blankly at Kita.

"Hayato-kun's middle school used to be a hotbed for delinquents. In his first year, Hayato-kun did something remarkable: he counter-bullied the entire class."

As they looked on in surprise, Kita continued, "Initially, someone in the class was being bullied, and Hayato-kun stepped forward and beat up the person who was harassing him."

"Later, those bullies didn't dare provoke Hayato-kun, but they continued to bully that boy, and even more people joined in the bullying."

"So Hayato-kun counter-bullied those people. Some of the more extreme ones were even sent to the hospital..."

"Isn't that really cool?" Nijika asked in surprise.

"Some people in the class didn't think so," Kita said, lowering her head sheepishly.

"That's a problem with Kita's classmates."

Ryo-senpai immediately sided with Hayato.

"Actually, there's more..." Kita continued.

"He also directly kicked open the girls' restroom to protect bullied girls, and he even got into fights on the street."

"He established an anti-bullying student organization, and it seems even some influential people helped him."

"I just don't know why he came to this high school..."

"Are you talking about Hayato-kun?"

Nijika asked Kita, her eyes wide with disbelief, as if doubting her own hearing.

She couldn't imagine that the usually playful and mischievous guy would do such terrifying things.

Kita nodded affirmatively. Seeing that no one seemed to disapprove, she took out her phone and shared the messages and information.

"Impressive," Ryo-senpai said admiringly after reading it.

"What the heck, he's a good guy after all!" Manager Hoshika breathed a sigh of relief.

And now, Kita felt as if she was witnessing the real scene she had described to Ijiichi-senpai and the others in the past.

So that's what he meant by what he said to her that time.

Speaking of which, didn't everyone in the class know what Hayato-kun had done? Why did they still dare to act like that?

Hayato saw that most of the students in the class had arrived. As if he had waited for the right moment, he steadily walked onto the podium with an aura that commanded the entire room.

"Alright everyone, please settle down. I have some things to explain to you."

"Starting today, everyone here, and all students in this school, will be protected by me."

"If you encounter any situation where you are being bullied, you can come to me. I will make those people suffer double the pain, and then make them apologize to you."

"This is not an empty promise. My statement is built on the support of the principal and the Meishi Law Firm. They will provide me with comprehensive support, both legally and within the school."

"Everyone, let's have a happy and wonderful school life."

"That is all."

"These are the words of a Pervert who, in a world without fairness, hopes to live happily."

"In other words, a truly perverted statement."
