With beast just as I get back to base and settle the sleeper in, it would appear my presence in the waking world is needed. I finally go back to the waking world after so long of staying away. I appear in the manor of the Immortal Flame. I'm the only one who has their anchor in such a dangerous place. Not that the fire keepers could do much about it. Or probably would. I'm the last to the meeting to kill the supremes, or so I find out when I open the door.
"It would appear I'm late. A shame"
I take a seat and I lean back. I pull up my runes watching as they appear as heart reads the forgotten shore exploration report while watching the movie.
"My answer stays the same. By attaining Supremacy myself."
After a while of talking I glance at the lord of shadows a odd throw away comment takes my interest. He calls himself kais best friend and it isn't a lie. How interesting. So he was close and by how much he knows, very close.
A few days later in the sword domain. It's late, after the... brilliant emporium, stupid name, closed. I knock on the door. A overly pretty black haired man opens the door
"Sunless. I request a talk"
He frowns
"Uh, its closed unfortunately"
I shake me head with a sigh
"Its about your involvement with the forgotten shores."
He freezes and his face is that of someone suppressing shock. He mutters
"One thing after another today"
He opens the door and almost pushes me in. I sit at one of the tables
"You know who I am don't you?"
After a few seconds he nods as he sits
"Your heat seeker or one of them at least."
I lean back
"Correct. Let me throw out a wild guess. You sunless have a similar ability to me and using it, your the lord of shadows."
He nods
"...yes, how did you know?"
I take out a exploration report
"dig even slightly and your name is all over my cohort"
He stares at the report a odd look crossing his face
"So sunless, do you want to know what happened at the end of my third nightmare?"
He looks up
"I... I do..."
With a sigh i start
"You know of frozen singer, that echo of mine. Well at the end of the third nightmare far above the burning frozen city she came to me. You know what's fucked up sunless?"
He shakes his head
"No.. I do not"
I lean forward
"Ever since I got her she's been manipulating and controlling everyone around me. Either with words or a mind attack so unnoticeable not a soul ever even suspected it. It lead up to that moment, when I confronted her she took something from me... I suspect a string of fate."
His eyes widen
"So the vil..... what are you leading up to?"
I flip a coin
"After the third nightmare all of fate went into chaos, didn't it. That's because you where ripped from it if I'm correct. That's why nobody can remember you, but it was a sloppy job, took more then needed, so not even the memory of forgetting you exists in everyone, but me thanks to singer"
He puts his hands together when he speaks his voice is shaking
"So... you don't remember me.... but i can tell you everything and you'll remember?"
I nod
"That is correct."
He sinks into his chair
"So you've gathered almost everything.... i.... I don't even know what to say."
I nod
"Well thats just how it lined up.... now... if you don't mind... can i have a storage memory?"
He sits up with a look of.... well a mix of offense, humor, and disbelief
"Everyone wants a memory nowadays. Yeah I can make you one. I've already made you one, what's making another"
I stare at him

He nods
"Yeah uh that one"
I grin proudly
"It's because it has a terrible name, and a description that has no flow to it"
A few days after that at the song domain. I lay in bed then I slowly lift a hand and with the breaking of a mirror i throw a ice dagger. It thunks into a wall next to a man's head
"Finally picked your prize corn?"
He nods with a smile then he grabs the dagger and tosses it over
"Yes of course I have... although i will say throwing a dagger next to my head is quite rude"
I get up
"And getting me trapped with 100 people who all hate me, is also rude"
He laughs
"Oh come now, it was far less by the time you got out of that prison"
He offers me his hand
"Well? Oh yes, i invited seishan to help me, the queen of worms insisted of course, the citadel isn't clear of monsters just yet after all"
I take his hand with a scoff
"You could have-"
And with the breaking of a mirror we disappear from my hotel room.
I let go of him wiping my hands off
"If I'm correct we will... why are you in your real body to meet me?"
He smiles
"Oh? Well getting your very own citadel is a very important milestone, although with how many you have in doubt its such a important thing"
I wave my hand
"Of course not it has to get its enchantment ring?"
I look back when someone speaks
"Oh? Do you mind explaining what that means?"

"Just as i said, each citadel i have has a enhancement ring. Although i am not quite willing to tell what they do"
She nods looking me over
"Oh? Are you not going to change back to your real look?"
I shake my head
"Getting the look back to its correct... well everything isn't as easy as one would think"
She nods looking me over

She studies me a lot from what everyone who talks with her says.

I end up, to my annoyance, as the vanguard. I do figure out quick why song seishan is here. It's a mix of the monsters around the place being subbed into their stealth, the thing is she can easily discover them, and the two are playing some kind of game. What it is I am not sure.
"So my dear rival, what exactly have you been doing? I mean your main body, it hasn't been seen in 4 years. It is a shame I don't get to see your real face"
I shrug
"Who knows?"
He gets a look of disbelief
"Who... knows?"
I nod
"Oh... each body you have..."
I wave my hand
"Has their very own mind and pool of essence"
He nods slowly
"Well. I appear to have been wrong about someth-"
I grab his arm pulling him closer, as I do I make a shield to block a attack from a fallen devil. I push it off the shield as it slides back he cuts it down.
"Oh my that was... unexpected. Can't believe you've done that twice now"
I glance back at seishan who keeps a innocent expression. What game are these two playing? Are they trying to figure out my capabilities? I should keep my guard up.
Later it is song seishan who comes up to me
"You know heat seeker, there really is this odd quality to you"
I shrug that does make a good amount of sense
"I don't doubt that there is"
She nods a flawless smile, that feels a little predatory, still on her face
"A timeless one I'd say. Its less that you dont change, its that their quite easy to keep up with"
I glance at her still looking me over, why does she do that?
"Or that you've been there for all of them"
She nods
"Or that"
Then she laughs
"Another odd quality is that your respectfully disrespectful."
What does that mean?
"Your eyes stay on the face, you don't make wildly rude assumptions"
She brushes past me stepping forward throwing a spear that thunks into a fallen monster
"You keep in mind people's past to what you say. You never even calls a soul even slightly inhuman. Yet your also one of the most disrespectful people."
I raise a eyebrow

She laughs yet again
"Do i have to name the fact you stole from song and valor, at the same time as well. Or maybe your tendency to say things that you deem as just the truth but can be really hurtful"
I shrug.... have these two been doing anything but talking? I've been doing most of the fighting. For fucks sake.
We finally get to the ballroom. The place where the corrupted tyrant is as well.
"You two best help"

I create a set of ice claws and I walk in. The tyrant lifts its head as I do.
"Let's get this over with already"
It slams a hand down where I was. I land far away digging my hand into a wall. I throw myself up as a figure smashes into it throwing it off. I throw myself forward slamming into its head as ice chains bind it, i stamp my foot down making the chains bite into it. Mordret appears and stabs it in the eye. It falls dead pretty fast. I wipe my hands off. Seishan looks around
"A ballroom... I doubt anyone has danced in this place for had anyone dance in it for some time. It would be nice to change that"
She gives me a odd look, I nod
"Yeah. Well corn claim your citadel so I can leave"
I hear him snicker
"Oh yes of course."
I tap my foot as he claims the citadel. Soon we leave
"Well let's get this circus on the road, I have places to be."
He nods. He and seishan disappears for a minute then he arrives back. I summon creators gift and I put the citadel in it.
"My my, that's how you do it" he walks over to me putting a arm over my shoulder I frown looking at his arm. Weirdo. With the breaking of glass we disappear leaving only a massive hole in the ground where the castle once was.
"Are you sure? I can put it there myself"
I shake my head
"I am not giving creators gift to you."
Now I'm not saying he's interested in stealing it, more so destroying it.
"Well if your so sure. Although it is nice to know the name of the memory that's letting you be such a enigma"
We appear within a think fog. I fall to one knee as everything seems to fade, a hand grabs my shoulder

I slowly get up. One feeling rages like a wild fire, hate. Hate for those two fools, some for myself as well. I push his hand off and I put the citadel down.

He nods and we disappear. I appear back in my hotel room
