As I ride the sleeper leans on my shoulder. By now hes told me his Flaw, it was in fact a deep weakness to heat, luckily he's strong against cold so it will work well enough. Still there's some base stuff i got to teach the kid
"Wo. Sleeper. First off we are first and foremost focused on saving people. Next we steal, but only from those who wont die because of it."
A corrupted monster jumps at me but is turned to ash by the sun light.
"Oh.... really..."
He seems distracted. Likely by being able to ride past such dangerous nightmare creatures while knowing your completely safe.
"I have to ask... why? Why exactly are you joining me?"
He doesn't speak for a bit
"I'm from erebus field.... I remember the irregulars protecting us... when my family got to falcon scott I remember seeing you fighting.... the captain of the Irregulars that saved my family was around you a lot i think...."
I hum. Does that mean the forgotten one is the devil? Or is he the angel? Would be funny if he was the angel, now the angel is always shown to be a girl. Heh.
"I remember riding past countless nightmare creatures. My sister would count them, she had to stop pretty fast there was too many. When we finally got to falcon scott I remember seeing you from a distance fight the hoards of nightmare creatures...."
He has a tone of someone reminiscing about a time both horrible and magical.
"And the five big threats. I heard you helped bloodwave kill one after killing another. Well I saw you after"
I glance back
"A ice woman in heavy armor and one of the captains saved my family and a few other people... I remember being so scared yet I was so sure they'd win and.... and they did."
I look out at white bone, with red vines growing everywhere like muscles. Maybe with what's coming the bones will be covered in enough blood to bring this dead god back to life
"Look kid... a war is coming. The two rulers of humanity are going to war. Those fools started the war during the fall of Antarctica."
He freezes looking at me
"A war... during...?"
I nod
"Yes. A war and in it, their both going to die."
I look up
"After if either wins they'll kill me and... changing star. They've left me alone so I don't go to the other side. As for changing star, those two have been trying to kill her since she was a child. Han li Caster was one of such assassins, not that he's truly a villain, the sovereigns and great clans are like gods to the legacies"
He doesn't speak i don't blame him

If I wasn't then I am sure I would not go along with some of the shit she gets me to do.
I promptly get onto a very heated debate on the network.
"Sorcery is not some super ultra magic!!!! Its like programming!!!"
I grab some good jerky throwing it into the cart.
"No it being magic does not make any sense. Essence is a clearly far more tangible force. Its another kind of energy, sorcery is a way to control it like we do with electricity."
I hop up grabbing a bag of candy, apparently their getting some weird new sleeper who's going to be living with the two.

I pick up a thing of cheep synth soda, the expensive brand tastes weird.

I throw everything into a large bag and I start walking. It feels so weird. One day everything being one way and the next your years into the future because your future self is melting down and stupid decides to steal from both great clans at once. I adjust a bracelet, the inside marked with runes, making it uncomfortable when it rubs against my arm. Its the thing hiding the saint aura. Other then that me being a saint isn't noticeable, even more so if you've never seen a saint. Thats only because i was a sleeper before i got... summoned? What would be the right word?
Over at the song domain. I end up carrying half cain. The idiot got incredibly drunk and is now having me carry him around how am I not shocked he did that. Really he does go overboard too much.
"Don't you have some kind of.... magic awakened hang over cure?"
I think for a second and I summon commanders authority, it seems to have not been being used and I slightly heal him. He jumps off of me with a yelp.
"What the hell!"
I desummon commanders authority
"There some of the hangover is gone."
He grumbles
"Okay okay I wont ask again... oh it is actually gone"
He waits for a few seconds before he laughs loudly
