My steps echo loudly, like the chime of a bell.

I shake my head
"no no. Its just that, each aspect and flaw tells you about a person. Like for you, your life got started in the shadow of the moon, in the outskirts the shadow of the city, your life was spent as a shadow of a person. Most of your time before the first nightmare was spent in the shadows hiding from the death so many others faced. Your flaw is based on the idea that in the dream realm you can not survive alone, but you couldn't trust others and always lied to stay alive."
He makes a face.

I nod
"yeah."
He looks away, then he sighs
"how about this. You mentioned getting a memory from the flesh of Kanakht"
I turn my head to the massive frozen remains of the flesh of Kanakht.
"Yeah i did. We are lucky, not just did i manage to keep this place together in the first place, but I managed to kill the flesh of Kanakht"
I am currently keeping the city from falling apart. It takes a lot of effort and I can't keep this up forever. Luckily noctis and cassie are working at a enhancement that will keep it together.

I look back at sunny and I do a givey hand

Later I walk in the halls of ravenheart. This time there won't be any shenanigans. I open the door.

I nod respectfully to seishan and her sisters
"monarch of snow. My greetings to you song sisters. And hey kai, I hope everything has been going by well here in ravenheart"
he smiles brightly and he nods
"yeah everything has been going well, I hope the Eternal City project has been going smoothly"
I wave my hand
"nothing we can't deal with. We've yet to find the citadel. I think its a ivory tower kind of situation either way once we find it or make it, then it can be maybe be turned into another city like ravenheart or bastion considering it's a great citadel"

the group all look at each other. Then at seishan.
"I will be your guide, do I need to prepare anything?"
I shake my head
"only things you think is necessary, don't worry about how much I can carry it."
I stay just outside the city. I sit on top of a ice PTV with my eyes closed listening to music. I just want a bit to relax before I have to isolate myself. With what I'm aware of, it's better to not let the last sovereign get close to me. I take my headphones off as I open my eyes.
"Hello song seishan"
wow that's a lot of stuff. She smiles waving her hand in a dismissively
"Just say seishan. It's fine"
I hop down
"that is fine with me seishan. You brought quite a lot?"
She glances back
"yes i suppose I did. Is that okay?"
I shrug.
"Yeah it's fine. It's not like I can say anything. I'm not the type to throw stones from my glass house."
I use the fake mimic on the weirdly large amount of stuff she brought.
"I mean I do get it. After years on the forgotten shore, I also found myself wanting luxuries I couldn't get"
she eyes the PTV for a few seconds with a smile.
"Yes I can see"
I gesture to it
"well, let's go"
She steps out almost falling. She puts her hand on a tree leaning on it.
"Well. I heard about your... unique set of driving skills, but.... goodness."
I step out as well. I close the doors
"you okay?"
She nods slowly
"yes. Yes I am okay."
She stands up smoothing her dress off
"I assumed i wouldn't be so frazzled for this reason"

she turns her head with a smile
"if you think so. I must ask that we do not take a PTV for the rest of this"
I nod i really don't mind
"thats okay with me. I intended to take this little adventure far slower then my last one"
she looks around
"I suppose we should get a move on then"
I follow seishan among the trees. It has a very old vibe to it. I guess that makes sense.... why are the trees not nightmare creatures? Stupid question, not saying it. We gets to a clearing. I look around the whole place. I walk over to a large rock as I summon the fake mimic. It spits out a tent set that i use snow storm to set it up as I watch the sun set. Seishan walks over sitting next to me.
"Its nice. Isn't it?"
She sighs softly
"sometimes I can't help but find myself having slight anxiety each time i see the sun set"
I stay silent for a while
"yeah. Even after all these years I find myself unable to forget that time. We had such different experiences, even if we weren't so far apart"
she chuckles
"even still, its nostalgic isn't it? The whole time was so dangerous yet simple."
"It didn't have any of this sovereign nonsense"
she looks over at me, a amused smile on her face
"arent you as sovereign?"
"Yeah. Doesn't stop it from being nonsense. Who decided it was smart to put me in charge"
