As long as even one senator spoke up, and as long as the general direction sounded righteous enough, the others would not dare openly make any suspicious moves under the eyes of so many media outlets.
After all, whether they were congressmen or senators, every one of them had climbed to their position through real votes. If the public stopped supporting them, then forget about their interests, they would lose their seats first.
But for Killian, this was just another cheap little trick that was not worth mentioning.
"Next, we will invite Sheldon Cardis, Chairman of the Federal House Antitrust Subcommittee. He has primarily been responsible for rulings and judgments related to market monopolies and similar cases."
After that, the senator who had applauded earlier looked at the name list on his desk and spoke into the microphone.
The moment he finished speaking, a commotion rose from the corridor. Then, under the attention of everyone present and the zooming cameras, an elderly man with graying hair walked in.
"Here are the materials collected by Chairman Sheldon Cardis regarding the major social impact caused by Pioneer Tech's product, Baymax, through monopolistic behavior."
After Sheldon Cardis walked over and sat down in the empty chair beside Killian, the senator above began addressing everyone again.
"According to our investigation, and in accordance with federal antitrust law, the findings are as follows."
"1. Pioneer Tech has abused its dominant market position by selling goods, namely Baymax, at unfairly high prices."
"2. Without legitimate reason, it has sold goods below cost."
...
"20. The company has not registered the corresponding patents for Baymax, and through its technological advantage and current market position, it has effectively excluded and restricted the business operations of others, constituting a factual monopoly over all medical equipment."
"Finally, based on the results of these twenty factual clauses, it can be concluded that Pioneer Tech's Baymax has an extremely severe monopolistic effect and is highly detrimental to the nation, the people, and the world."
"Therefore, I recommend that the Senate rule that Pioneer Tech hand over Baymax's core technology, or register the technology patents and completely abandon its technological monopoly."
"This would set a good example for the broader technology sector and preserve a healthy development environment."
After talking for nearly half an hour, Sheldon Cardis finally raised his voice and looked toward the senator on the far side, the one who was clearly their man.
"Baymax, are you ready?"
After listening to the clown's speech, Killian quietly spoke into the earpiece to Baymax.
"Sir, everything is ready."
"Good. Then next, let's watch a video."
"Begin."
After hearing Baymax's response, Killian smiled faintly. Then, after speaking to everyone, the screens in the distance lit up.
On them appeared the internal experiment footage of the major pharmaceutical companies led by Alex.
There was everything, the disassembly of Baymax units, various tests, and even the recorded voices of those executives in the lab instructing researchers to dissect Baymax.
Most notably, there was clear footage of the Pfizer executive saying they would use money to crush Pioneer Tech and buy the technology outright.
And there was also Alfred Gerard, the recently removed Executive President of AbbVie Biopharmaceutical, openly declaring on video that if Killian refused, they would send him down to meet Satan.
The moment those words came out, every audience member sitting in front of a television and watching the live broadcast erupted.
Even the senator who had just been supporting them instantly went dark in the face, his hand trembling as he pointed at Alex. A second later, he failed to steady himself and fainted on the spot.
Alex's face turned black as well, and cold sweat immediately began pouring down his forehead. He hurried forward, trying to yank the power cable out of the display.
But it was already too late.
By the time he pulled the plug, all the people had already seen enough.
"Hahahaha! Did you all see that, people?!"
"This is what those so-called pharmaceutical executives who wave the flag of patriotism, equality, and healthy industry ecosystems really are! In truth, they are nothing more than filthy pigs who lie, cheat, plunder, and commit every evil in private!!!"
"My friends!! Today I came here willing to listen to these clowns explain themselves!"
"And what happened?! The facts have told me, and told all of us!"
"They are just clowns, nothing more! And I, Killian, with one man and one company, can accomplish more than these clowns have after decades of effort. They exhausted themselves and still could not even break through the protection measures on a finished product that had already been manufactured in my own home!"
"With one man and one company, our products can benefit the people of the world!"
Looking at the pale-faced clowns who had been scared out of their wits, Killian stood up and shouted toward the crowd and the cameras.
The scene immediately descended into chaos, and the judge had no choice but to order the hearing adjourned.
Once he heard that, Killian turned and walked straight out without even looking back.
To him, cleaning up these companies was only a side matter. Did they really think the Baymax units his company developed had no safeguards?
The moment anyone attempted violent disassembly, Baymax would activate its recording function, capturing the entire scene from every angle without blind spots, then remotely sending the footage back.
Not to mention that, back when Gerard had first tried to move against him, Killian had already instructed Baymax in advance to gather dirt on all the major companies.
The only reason he had paused his plans was because Gerard got cleaned up by Kingpin first.
And yet, instead of staying quiet, they came knocking at his door on their own. Since they were so eager to die, how could Killian possibly not oblige them?
...
Meanwhile, as Killian's speech spread together with the court footage carried by media outlets of every size, Pioneer Tech became completely and utterly famous.
Everyone now knew that several of America's strongest corporations, after failing to create Baymax and failing even to crack it, had tried to destroy Pioneer Tech instead.
That alone was enough to prove just how truly incredible Baymax was.
For medical companies worth hundreds of billions and even trillions to move against it personally, that was enough to show exactly what kind of status Baymax carried.
And so, the frenzy to buy Baymax surged once again.
Orders that had already stretched one year into the future instantly expanded to five years out, and they were still increasing.
And this was while Pioneer Tech was continuously expanding its own factories.
Production speed had already fallen behind the speed of customer demand.
And elsewhere, there were people watching all of this unfold through the screen.
