With a violent tremor, the two men standing at the edge of the crater were instantly thrown off balance by the sudden shaking of the ground and fell inside.

From the people inside the building, all they saw was that after a loud crash, their two companions fell into the pit.
Then came the roar of a beast, screams of agony, and the endless sound of gunfire.
But it did not last long.
As a sudden spray of blood burst out from the crater, everything returned to silence.

Inside the building, every one of them was trembling in fear at what they had just seen.
Those were two armed men.
And yet...
None of them dared think any further.
"Everybody, load your weapons! Fiss, go get all the heavy firepower!"
"I want to see exactly what kind of monster that thing is!"
Even though he was just as scared, the boss knew that if he did not step up now, his men would scatter before the enemy even attacked. So he immediately barked orders to the subordinate beside him.
After hearing the order, the others hurried to the weapons racks and pulled out all kinds of heavy weapons, submachine guns, assault rifles, even grenade launchers.
They looked exactly like a small military organization.
On the other side, watching the live feed from the site, Killian finally understood why Ross had classified them as terrorists.
With this kind of arsenal, if no one dealt with them, they really could start an uprising.
If not them, then who else should be wiped out?
Meanwhile, after everyone in the building returned to the windows carrying all kinds of heavy weapons, they instantly felt much safer.
In their minds, no matter what came at them, even if Captain America himself showed up, they could gun him down right there.
But that thought lasted only until the next second.
A massive figure leaped out of the crater and landed on the ground. At that moment, everyone realized one thing.
They had underestimated reality.
Under the outdoor lights, a giant over three meters tall stood clearly in the open space before them.
Its torn, ruined skin, horrifyingly savage face, enormous body, and especially the giant claw on its right hand dripping with blood...
"Th-this... this..."
At that moment, every person stared at the giant in absolute shock. Some were trembling so badly that they wanted to say something, but were too terrified to form the words.

The fingers they had tightly pressed against their triggers loosened on instinct.
At that moment, every one of them was afraid that the instant they fired, they would provoke this monster from hell.
But while they were giving it time, the T-0 Tyrant had no intention of giving them any.
In its senses, the building ahead was filled with prey waiting to be hunted.
Then the Tyrant turned its crimson eyes toward the house.
The moment their eyes met, everyone inside felt as if an invisible hand had clenched around their hearts.

The instant the first gunshot rang out, nobody could hold back any longer. Everyone started unloading all the bullets they had.
"Die, you damn monster!"
"Motherfucker! Come and get it!!!"
At that moment, whether to vent their fear or simply to keep themselves from collapsing, everyone was screaming while firing wildly.
The entire building was lit up by the flashes of gunfire.

But when the bullets struck the Tyrant, what they got in return was not its collapse, but pure rage. The savage instinct carved into its DNA erupted at once.
The Tyrant charged.
In the blink of an eye, it smashed through the doorway and tore apart the man hiding behind it and shooting at him.
And only now, seeing it at close range, did everyone realize that the bullet holes covering its body were slowly forcing the bullets back out, as if an immense pressure inside was squeezing them free.
"M-monster!!"
At close range, the entire room descended into chaos.
Some kept firing, some tried to run, and some screamed hysterically, refusing to believe it and trying to fight the monster to the death.
But without exception, all of them were ripped to pieces by the Tyrant amid one scream after another.
Just as the Tyrant grabbed a man in its massive hand and crushed his head with a casual squeeze, a voice suddenly rang out nearby.
"Hey! Big guy!"
The Tyrant turned its head and saw a blond man standing there with a rocket launcher on his shoulder, grinning like he had lost his mind.
"Taste your daddy's big toy, you bastard!!"
Then, with a loud shout, the man fired.
A rocket shot out of the launcher and streaked toward the Tyrant.
Boom!!
A massive explosion followed. The spot where the monster had been standing was instantly swallowed by roaring flames.
And within that blaze, the silhouette of the monster was still moving.
The smile that had just appeared on the blond man's face collapsed immediately.
He could not imagine how terrifying a creature had to be to survive a direct rocket hit.
But after a short while, the monster finally fell over.
Only then did the man's smile return.
"Fuck... dead already, and it still had to scare the hell out of me."
After cursing, the man collapsed weakly to the ground.
He had no idea where he had found the courage to face that monster.
But thankfully, it was all over.
Only, when he looked at their base, now reduced to ruins, the smile on his face faded again.
He had spent a huge price building this operation.
And now it was all gone.
What the man failed to notice was that, after the fallen monster's heart had stopped beating, an eerie orange glow slowly began to light up in its chest.

On the other side.
"It seems your prized weapon was brought down rather easily by these people."
As the Tyrant fell, the video feed from the camera implanted in its eye cut out, and the researchers' laptop went black.
Seeing that, General Ross spoke with disappointment.
