Chapter 42 - Chapter 42 Tony's Physics Class

"How exactly did you do that? We all saw the screen's power cord get pulled."

Facing Tony's confusion, Harry felt quite smug.

"The Osborn Group is an energy giant; it's perfectly normal for electric currents to understand what I say."

"Really? That sounds like something a charlatan would say. Besides, I didn't waste those 10 seconds of yours; I even gave you a 'GG' after the meeting ended earlier."

"That's not bad."

[Remember the website domain. For good books, choose Taiwan Novel Website, t w k a n. c o m. It's super easy.]

It was indeed not bad. Tony was currently the man with the highest traffic in the United States, and perhaps even the highest in the World.

At this moment, Senator Stern also walked out.

"Mr. Osborn, it seems New York has encountered some trouble recently."

Stern took the initiative to reach out to Harry, though his expression wasn't very pleasant, looking quite insincere.

"Thank you for your concern, Senator. It's already been resolved; just some interference from foreign forces."

Harry didn't mean anything else by it; he was purely saying 'GG', and as for the profanity that followed, that was played by Tony.

But this Senator Stern seemed to know he couldn't out-talk Tony, so he could only target Harry.

"Resolved? Foreign forces? Which foreign forces? The damn moon? We'll see."

Harry shrugged.

We'll see? See what? See Hammer Industries get crushed?

However, Harry did remember that this senator was HYDRA. Harry narrowed his eyes as he watched Stern's back.

Regarding Kingpin's plane crash, there was one thing the news didn't report.

Kingpin was shot to death.

"So, was it really foreign forces?" After Stern left, Tony asked curiously.

A terrorist attack occurred in New York, it suddenly entered a state of emergency, and then people from the Rand Corporation and a large swath of financial companies in Midtown were arrested; this was a big deal.

Over the past few weeks, the two most closely watched events in the U.S. were Iron Man, and New York entering a state of emergency with the National Guard blockading Midtown.

"Yeah, foreign forces. Let's not talk about that. Are you still holding up?" Harry looked at Tony's chest.

Tony looked around and didn't speak.

"What's wrong? Don't forget I also have this technology. Palladium poisoning, right?"

Tony let out a long breath and nodded.

"What, does your company have some latest medical technology to solve heavy metal poisoning?"

"What other methods could there be? Hemodialysis. What other method do you want?"

Hearing "hemodialysis," Tony shook his head.

"I'm Iron Man. If I were to be hospitalized, the paparazzi would make it the headline the next day."

"Then replace palladium with a new element."

Hearing this plan, Tony smiled helplessly. "I've tried. Other elements just don't fit."

"Then synthesize a new element."

"How do you synthesize it? This stuff doesn't just pop out because you think about it."

Harry took a USB drive out of his pocket.

"I've gone through old documents. Your father seemed to have done very deep research on the Arc Reactor."

"In his previous research documents, I believe he hinted at the existence of an element—one that could be applied to the Arc Reactor."

What Harry said left Tony a bit confused.

"These are several deduced models, but I have no clue how to design the accelerator experiment. Maybe you'd be interested in this?"

Tony looked at the USB drive, full of suspicion.

When Tony returned to the country, Harry had visited Stark's CEO office once, secretly photographed those model boards of Howard's, and then successfully obtained the model of that element in the way shown in the movie.

The models in the USB drive were all things Harry had slightly modified based on the correct answer to fill the space; of course, Harry also included the correct answer.

He only had the model for now, and Harry didn't know how Tony actually designed the experiment to produce this new element; he only knew it was created through a device similar to a particle accelerator.

So he needed Tony to give him a lesson on this aspect.

"So you want me to join your experiment?" Tony smiled. "I never work for others."

"That's truly your loss, but if you're willing, perhaps you could explain to me how to synthesize a new element. I don't think you'd refuse a shareholder's request, right?"

After listening, Tony walked around Harry, sizing him up.

"So you're actually a young man eager to learn? That's strange. I thought young people at this age were all supposed to be arrogant."

"That's you, okay? Please don't impose your own ideas on others! I'm still attending Empire University, remember!" Although Harry had almost never been to school.

Tony finally agreed to Harry's request and spent some time giving him a lesson.

"So, if you want to create this element," Tony's holographic projection was very cool, changing back and forth under his hands.

"You need a particle accelerator like this."

The newly generated projection indicated the device's radius, power requirements, efficiency, and beam intensity.

"Did I make myself clear? Genius kid."

Harry nodded, feeling the joy of a good harvest.

Tony explained it really well, and using this equipment for a lecture was truly vivid and easy to understand.

"Jarvis, can this element be used for the reactor?" After finishing, Tony asked.

"No, sir. In fact, the structure of this element has some theoretical flaws; it's unlikely to exist in reality."

Tony shrugged at Harry.

"Looks like your deduction isn't very feasible."

Harry was silent for a moment. Tony was very smart, especially after Harry himself became an inventor; he often envied Tony's brain. Moreover, the system had once given him the option to improve his intelligence.

"Tony, if you had to choose, would you want Captain America's physique, a smart brain, or to possess a mysterious Sixth Sense?"

Harry's question piqued Tony's interest, or rather, Harry's performance throughout the entire day had satisfied him—giving him a feeling of being a mentor.

"Hmm, perhaps the strong physique, or the mysterious Sixth Sense." Tony thought for a moment, then added, "Let's go with the Sixth Sense. I just thought about it and realized Pepper might not like the bodybuilder look."

Tony's answer stunned Harry.

"But you're recognized as the smartest person in the U.S. Wouldn't you choose a smart brain?"

This World hadn't yet discovered those monstrous guys from Marvel, like Mister Fantastic Reed or Doctor Doom; Tony truly represented the ceiling of IQ.

"Exactly, I already have a smart brain, so of course I'd choose the other two." Tony blinked.

Harry was speechless—it turned out to be a variation of "I actually have a cow."

"What's wrong? Did Santa Claus run to your house and make you choose?"

"Just a hypothesis."

"How should I put it? In my opinion, intelligence, or rather a high IQ, isn't something you're born with—of course, there's no denying that some geniuses exist, like me." Tony smiled and pointed at himself in a very punchable way.

"But true wisdom and creativity, that stuff needs to be 'trained.' Even for me, if I were born in the jungle with no one to teach me how to survive, it's debatable whether I'd learn how to make fire by rubbing sticks by the time I died."

"This kind of sudden IQ spike sounds unreliable. What, you haven't actually started daydreaming about that, have you?"

Tony pushed a dark-colored drink over.

"Of course, your brain isn't bad either; I'm not saying you're an idiot—just that you're definitely not as good as me. Also, how exactly did you make the powered-down screen light up? Can this technology be applied here? Think about it?" Tony tapped the reactor on his chest.

Although his expression was punchable, Tony spoke very sincerely.

Constant learning; this was actually the same as Harry before awakening the system.

Furthermore, the options given by the system were more like extracting features from those four serums—and while the Green Goblin Enhancer had the effect of making people smarter, it wasn't exactly rare in the Marvel Universe, and its effects weren't heaven-defying.

But the Sixth Sense—it was clearly associated with Spider-Sense, and that thing was a total bug. It was precisely because he chose the Sixth Sense that he was able to walk a different path faster—the path of psionics.

Thinking of this, Harry suddenly felt enlightened. No longer worried about gains and losses, he gulped down the chlorophyll, leaving Tony stunned.

"Phew. This technology is not for sale for now; it's exclusive technology."

"Finally, thank you for the lecture, Professor Stark. By the way, do you plan to sell this set of equipment? I'd like to get one too." Harry curiously tapped around in the air.

"If you're just talking about the holographic projection, I can give it to you; I'm planning to put this thing on the market anyway. But the data processing is exclusive technology." Tony implicitly admitted that the artificial intelligence given to Harry was a neutered version, lacking the data processing capability of Jarvis.

That wasn't bad either; Harry happily acquired a set of cool holographic projection technology, still not a loss.

"Well, let's stop here for today. I still have some things to deal with." Harry stood up, intending to leave.

"So you really are a diligent and conscientious CEO?" Tony poured himself a glass of chlorophyll.

"You know, that sounds like you're saying you're an incompetent CEO, only thinking about picking up girls and driving sports cars every day—now maybe that should be changed to flying around in an Iron Man Suit."

"I'm certainly competent!" Tony touched his head unnaturally. "It's just that at your age, you don't seem like the type to work diligently."

"I've said it before, Mr. Stark, don't use your own experiences to judge others."

But in reality, Harry might not be qualified to say that to Tony.

He even wanted to hand over the CEO position just like Tony.

After getting what he wanted, Harry bid farewell to Tony and returned to New York.

As for whether Tony would try those models a few more times on his own, that wasn't something he could control; in any case, he would eventually figure this thing out with Nick's reminder.

Harry still had Norman's retrovirus to deal with.

And Tony, after Harry left, looked at the USB drive Harry left behind a few more times, but ultimately didn't pick it up.
