Chapter 13 - the death of masked demon।

Dev, looking at the nearly half-cut body of the demon lying in front of him, was thinking, "How exactly did this die? And who could it be that cut it into two pieces like this?"

Dev does not pity demons, so he was searching around himself for a weapon to kill that demon. But perhaps the demon had absorbed their weapons along with the soldiers, so no weapons were visible nearby.

Dev moved a little ahead, away from the demon. Dev looks down into a hollow pit at the corner of that path. Looking at that place, Dev began to think to himself, "Why is there a hole here exactly?"

As soon as Dev went near that pit, he saw something red glowing. Seeing it, Dev took a few steps back. Dev had broken out in a slight sweat because he still hadn't forgotten that attack—what exactly was this?

Meanwhile, when Manas Dev Khurana was going further ahead from the cave, he too had looked towards this pit, but he thought it best to stay away from it; after all, who unnecessarily pokes a dog?

In front of Dev was actually the same red ball that Dev had seen just a short while ago. Just then, the system's voice raced into his ears:

"A threat has been detected. Eliminate it and gain 10 points."

Just then, Dev remembered something—this red ball does not attack anyone without a reason, without being provoked. If they are made to move, only then do they attack.

Remembering this, Dev felt relieved. Although he was somewhat safe from this thing because of his armor, he did not want to make any wrong decision in such a situation.

Dev thought, "Although it is very dangerous, it takes some time for it to attack. I can use this to my advantage."

Dev hid behind a rock adjacent to the cave wall. He began to think, "Last time, these were attacking by rising straight up into the air. This way, I can definitely avoid its attack. Even if it does attack, its knives will only damage this wall. I will survive."

He picked up a nearby stone and threw it into the hollow in the wall. As soon as he did so, a red flash emanated for a moment. This meant that the machine had awakened.

Slowly, emerging from the cave, a red ball with eight legs appeared. It rose into the air. Dev thought to himself, "Yes, so far so good. Just attack quickly now."

But contrary to Dev's thinking, that machine did not attack, but instead slowly began to move towards Dev through the air. Dev was not prepared for this. He got a little scared. He had thought that the machine would just rise in the air and attack mercilessly, like it did before. How was he to know that it floats in the air and chases you too.

"Is it going to come here? I hadn't thought of this at all. This is a really bad situation!"

Dev quickly ran towards the pit from which that red ball had emerged. That pit was about the size of a man. Without any hesitation, Dev jumped into that pit and curled up, tucking his head and legs beneath him.

Meanwhile, as Dharm Khurana was lying on the hospital bed, he saw a shadow at the window. That shadow was slowly entering the room.

That person was wearing a red mask on his face and had a walkie-talkie in his hand. He was talking to someone, "Did you send me here just for this man?"

A voice came from the other side, "Yes. Finish your work as quickly as possible."

That person, stepping into the hospital room, approached Dharm Khurana's bed. He took out a cloth soaked in a sedative substance from his pocket, but as soon as he looked up, he was suddenly stunned.

Over here, after Dev jumped into the pit, that machine once again repeated its signature mode. Its eight legs began to spin around its body, like a ball of thorns—except instead of thorns, there were knives.

It fell down with a bang and all its knives extended towards Dev. Dev had already brought his legs and face underneath his back. Clasping his legs with his hands, he had created a position where all the attacks would land on his back.

Dev had no other option now. The attacks from that machine struck Dev's back at an extremely high speed. Because the pit wasn't very wide, the attacks landed only on Dev's back.

Dev gritted his teeth in pain.

Actually, Dev had simply forgotten that he was wearing armor. So, thinking it would hurt, he had clenched his teeth. This armor was like a tunic, but it did not cover his legs below the knees. Still, because of this armor, his life was saved.

Dev climbed out of that place. He saw in front of him some broken machine parts twitching every now and then, having exhausted all its power.

Dev picked up another nearby stone and hit the machine with it at least ten to twenty times. As soon as he did that, the machine was completely destroyed.

Along with this, a notification appeared on Dev's system:

"Threat eliminated. You have received 10 points."

Dev heard this notification and glanced at the system panel. Then he turned back—after all, this was exactly why he had awakened this machine. Because it had knives.

He picked up the eight fallen legs, which looked like knives, and kept them with him. Then he went back to that fallen demon. This time, he was not empty-handed.he thaut it's so dangerous to fight with this machine only support of an armour ।who protects only his hand chest back and half lower of body like kurta।dev see the half dead demon body and now it's my time.

He struck the dead demon dozens of times in anger. After this, a delightful notification suddenly appeared on his system...
