Hillside Residence.....
Ashton was lying in the couch, his mind thinking of a next move.
At first things looked tough but now he could boast of something but it wasn't enough.
He was finding it hard to come up with something.
What might she like, he kept asking himself.
Should I take her on a treat or shopping or to a m-
" Young Master, you have visitors.", his thoughts got distracted by the Butler.
Ashton:" Pardon?"
Butler:" You have got guests, Young Master."
Ashton:" And who are ?"
Butler:" Second Young Master of the Berrys, Young Miss of the Neils and Young Miss of the Olsons."
Ashton:" Oh my gee! Let them in."
Ashton rushed into his room to get changed.
He was in a not-so-impressive casual wear and decided to change into one that made him look hot.
He met the trio in the living room's couch and welcomed them warmly.
Ashton:" What's up fellas?"
Jake:" Yo bro!"
Jake gave him a huge shake then a hug.
Rhoda's hand was to her mouth.
Rhoda:" Jeez dude! You're too hot. Give me a hug."
Bianca became shy at once.
" Hi", she waved him with a smile.
Ashton replied her with a faint smile," Hey".
Ashton:" This scene here looks unusual, you know. Like unusual"
He said putting up a funny act.
Rhoda:"Yh. Infact, Jake here and I decided to make a trip to Newzee but we decided to visit you guys. My bad, we don't know Newzee so if you guys could take us around, we'll love it.
Jake:"Exactly! Bianca, Ashton, what do you say?"
Ashton:"I'd love to"
Bianca: Anything for my friends"
Rhoda:" Hurray! Knew I could count on you guys"
, Jake:" Let's get going"
Ashton:"I'll drive you. My treat"
Rhoda:" Cool of you guys"
They all headed to the car.
Ashton drove the latest edition sports car on the market.
All through the drive, Ashton played his favorite playlist. They all enjoyed his taste of music and sang along. Ashton and Bianca shows them around and took them to many places.
They enjoyed their company. Bianca got the chance to speak with Ashton when they got into the gallery.
Sadly, she couldn't talk to him about anything except the initiatives he wanted to bring on board after being crowned school King.
The day ended with Jake and Rhoda bidding them - Bianca and Ashton - goodbye.
... Kings and Queens High School...
It was a cloudy morning. The weather was so unpredictable. Many students prayed for a storm.
In Class E, some students had the conscience that they had an upcoming College Entrance Exam which seemed far away but will near within a few blinks.
Some of them expected scholarships to prestigious universities.
Some like Kameron Baker, the brainest in the class had hoped of gaining a scholarship to Legends University of Technology in their neighboring country, Beaver Land.
Nicki Jones wanted to gain scholarship to Springfield University of Arts.
Kameron and Nicki, one the brainest the other an average student, all aimed at one goal.
Improving their grades.
Kameron had to hit a score of 850 to the perfect score, thus 900, as his total raw score before he could gain a scholarship. With 800 and above he could obviously gain admission to his dream university but financially his family was unstable.
Nicki's family is financially stable and wants her to pursue a career in business administration. She's not pleased with it. If she can gain a scholarship to Springfield University of Arts her family would not have the chance to stand in her way. She could be the journalist she dreamt of becoming.
Others always faced similar challenges and psyched their minds to gain the scholarship.
Meanwhile, people like Ashton, Zen, Alex, Bianca, Ray, Liza and even Ryanne cared less of being serious now.
Ashton wanted to study business at Crystalvile University. After all, he had to take over the business - the Miles Family Business.
Bianca on the other hand didn't have to take on her shoulders the responsibility of taking over a family business since she had her elder brother - Myron Olson to shoulder that responsibility.
She plans on gaining admission to Springfield University of Arts to accomplish her dream of becoming a great model and actress.
At first, her Dad wanted her to study business so she could handle a section of the business. To him, the entertainment industry was not where he ever set his eyes on for his only daughter.
Due to consistent appeals, he had to agree with her dream. All he wanted was the best for her.
As long as it made her happy, he was all in.
