"Alex, if you're feeling better and don't have any lingering wounds, let's go get something to eat. You've gone several days without a meal," Erza said.
Alex nodded. "To be honest, I'm starving. I'll be counting on your sponsorship then."
"Of course, leave it to me." Erza helped Alex up from the bed, allowing him to use her shoulder as support.
"Listen, Alex. Before we go for food, you should know that I consider the Fairy Tail guild my home. Therefore, I consider all its members my family." Alex looked at Erza and nodded in acknowledgement. "That being said... the guild can be a bit rowdy. People fight very often. Don't be alarmed if a brawl breaks out."
"And if some idiot messes with you... just tell me who it is, and I will put them in their place," Erza added in a firm, confident tone. They didn't call her Titania for nothing.
Since Alex had some knowledge of Fairy Tail, he wasn't entirely lost regarding the guild members. After all, he had watched the first season and half of the second. Once the Tartaros arc passed, he would have to go with the flow. And with Erza seemingly acting like Mikasa from AOT protecting him at every turn he shouldn't be in any immediate danger.
When they left the infirmary and reached the main hall, Alex observed the members. Everyone was sitting quietly, not causing any trouble. Something doesn't feel right, he thought. Likewise, the Fairy Tail members watched the young man who had just lost his entire village.
The two reached the bar where Mira was waiting. "Mira, two meals, please."
Mira also observed the survivor. He was good-looking, with short jet-black hair, naturally messy, with bangs falling near his eyes. He had a slim build and average height, but his large eyes contained a certain darkness, as if they lacked luster. His pupils seemed nonexistent, giving him a vacant, hollow stare.
I should see more of him before drawing conclusions, Mira thought. "Of course. I'll tell the chef to prepare two meals. Take a seat, I'll be back in a moment."
Erza and Alex sat at the bar. "You told me they could be rowdy, but they seem pretty civilized to me, Erza," Alex remarked, noting the strangeness of the atmosphere.
Erza glanced at the others, who were watching them discreetly. Normally, after midday, at least one fight should have broken out. Erza didn't know what was happening either, but hearing Alex's comment, Mirajane returned from the kitchen and explained.
"Well, the Master gave the order to behave until he returns from the Magic Council. If anyone causes trouble, they'll be punished with cleaning the guild's bathrooms for a month."
Erza was happy the guild was behaving for once, sparing her from having to discipline them. However, she still didn't quite understand why the Master had issued such a specific punishment. Mirajane explained what happened with Natsu, so that the two of them could rest properly. Alex was grateful he could eat in peace for now.
Once they finished their meal, Mirajane approached Erza and handed her some keys. "These are the keys to the house you asked the Master to rent. Here is the contract. The Master already paid the first two months, totaling 400,000 Jewels."
Erza took the contract and the keys. "Thank you, Mira. When the Master returns, I'll pay him back for the rent."
"Let's go, Alex. We need to head to our new home and go shopping."
As Erza and Alex left the guild, the others watched them go. Once they were out of sight, the tension finally snapped. No one knew who threw the first punch, but within seconds, an all-out brawl erupted. Behaving for an entire day had been pure torture for the members of Fairy Tail.

Alex and Erza arrived at their new home. It was a standard house with medieval-style architecture, just like in the anime. It had the essentials: a living room, dining area, kitchen, laundry room, a small patio, and upstairs, two bedrooms and a study.
Enough space for two people, Alex thought—until he saw Erza move in all her armors from Fairy Hills. Without a second thought, she occupied one bedroom and the study with her gear, leaving only one room for both of them to sleep in together.
By the time Erza finished organizing the house and buying supplies for two, it was already night. In a world resembling the medieval era, people usually went to bed once darkness fell.
With only one bedroom and one double bed even though the room was large enough for two singles Alex didn't understand why Erza decided one bed would be enough. He turned to see Erza coming out of the bathroom, already dressed for sleep.
Isn't that outfit a bit... revealing? he thought. She wore silk pajamas consisting of a sleeveless top and tiny, tight-fitting shorts. Alex took in the view. According to his memories, Erza was someone who often wore revealing armor, especially those showcasing her ample bust.
Watching her walk toward the bed without a bra, he could see the sway of her breasts; the outline of her nipples was visible through the thin fabric.

"There's no need to sleep in the living room. I don't mind sleeping together. I already slept beside you yesterday, so there's no problem doing it again," Erza said. "How strange... from what I've heard and asked around, men like sleeping next to women in light clothing. I dressed like this to please you. Perhaps I need something even more revealing?"
Alex tried to protest, but he was no match for Erza's strength. So in the end she ended up sleeping in the same bed as her with a view of her bare tits when she settled in the direction of Erza.
