Chapter 30 - Chapter 29: The Thighs We Don't Say

Chapter 29: The Things We Don't Say

(Jay-jay's POV)

The classroom didn't feel the same anymore.

It was still loud.

Still chaotic.

Still Section E.

But underneath all of that—

Something darker settled in.

Something heavier.

Because this time…

It wasn't just teasing.

It wasn't just drama.

It was real.

Felix: "BRO THAT WAS INSANE!"

Calix: "YOU ALMOST FOUGHT HIM!"

Mayo: "FOR LOVE!"

Kit: "THIS IS CINEMATIC!"

Blaster: "I WAS READY TO RECORD A FIGHT!"

Edrix: "I still am."

Rory: "DO IT AGAIN!"

Drew: "YES PLEASE!"

David (calm): "…no one is fighting anyone."

I didn't respond.

I couldn't.

Because I could still feel it—

His hand on my waist earlier.

Not soft.

Not asking.

That moment wasn't gentle.

It was something else.

Something that stayed.

I stood up.

Jay-jay: "I need air."

No one stopped me.

Not even him.

Which was new.

Hallway — Quiet Corner

(Jay-jay's POV)

The silence here felt different from before.

Colder.

Sharper.

Like something was waiting.

I leaned against the wall again.

Closed my eyes.

Tried to breathe.

But—

It didn't help.

Because now I knew.

This wasn't simple anymore.

It wasn't just feelings.

It wasn't just attraction.

It was—

Dangerous.

Footsteps.

Slow.

Measured.

Familiar.

I didn't open my eyes.

Jay-jay: "…you don't listen, do you?"

Keifer: "Not when it comes to you."

I exhaled.

Of course.

Of course he followed.

(Keifer's POV)

She walked away.

Again.

But this time—

It didn't feel like distance.

It felt like tension.

Like something unfinished.

Something pulling me after her.

And I didn't fight it.

(Jay-jay's POV)

I opened my eyes.

He was closer than before.

Closer than he should be.

But I didn't step back.

Jay-jay: "You crossed a line."

Keifer: "I know."

Jay-jay: "You didn't ask."

Keifer: "I didn't."

Jay-jay: "…and you don't regret it."

Silence.

Then—

Keifer: "No."

My breath caught.

Not because I didn't expect it.

But because of how easily he said it.

Jay-jay: "…that's the problem."

Keifer stepped closer.

Again.

Always closer.

Keifer: "You didn't stop me."

Jay-jay: "…don't twist it."

Keifer: "I'm not."

Jay-jay: "You are."

Keifer: "Then say it."

Silence.

Because he knew.

He knew exactly what he was doing.

Keifer: "Say you didn't want me to."

My heartbeat got louder.

Faster.

Jay-jay: "…this isn't fair."

Keifer: "I never said it was."

Jay-jay: "…you're making this harder."

Keifer: "Good."

The air between us felt tight now.

Like it could snap.

Like something was about to break.

He stepped closer again.

Now there was no space left.

None.

His hand didn't move this time.

He didn't touch me.

And somehow—

That felt worse.

Keifer (low): "Tell me to stop."

Jay-jay: "…stop what?"

Keifer: "This."

His voice dropped even lower.

Keifer: "Us."

Silence.

Heavy.

Sharp.

Dangerous.

I looked at him.

Really looked.

At the way he was waiting.

At the way he wasn't forcing anything.

At the way he was standing there—

Like he would actually listen.

If I said it.

And that—

That scared me more than anything.

Jay-jay (quiet): "…I can't."

His jaw tightened slightly.

Not anger.

Something else.

Something darker.

Keifer: "Why?"

Jay-jay: "…because I don't want to."

There it was.

The truth.

Raw.

Unfiltered.

Unavoidable.

Something shifted in his expression.

Not softer.

Not lighter.

Deeper.

(Keifer's POV)

That was it.

That was all I needed.

(Jay-jay's POV)

His hand lifted again.

But this time—

He didn't hesitate.

Didn't pause.

Didn't ask.

It moved straight to my waist.

Firm.

Certain.

Pulling me closer—

Until there was nothing left between us.

Jay-jay: "…Keifer—"

Keifer: "You said you don't want me to stop."

My breath caught.

Jay-jay: "…that doesn't mean—"

Keifer: "It means enough."

His voice was low.

Dangerously calm.

His other hand moved—

Not fast.

Not rough.

But intentional.

Tilting my chin slightly upward.

Forcing me to look at him.

Keifer: "Look at me."

I already was.

But now—

I couldn't look away.

Keifer: "You feel it too."

Jay-jay: "…don't say it like that."

Keifer: "Like what?"

Jay-jay: "…like it's inevitable."

A pause.

Then—

Keifer: "It is."

My heart was racing.

Too fast.

Too loud.

Too real.

Jay-jay: "…you're not scared?"

Keifer: "Of what?"

Jay-jay: "Of this."

Keifer didn't hesitate.

Keifer: "No."

That answer—

Was terrifying.

Because I was.

A little.

Maybe more than a little.

Jay-jay: "…you should be."

Keifer: "I'm not."

Jay-jay: "Why?"

He leaned closer.

So close his voice barely existed anymore.

Keifer: "Because I already chose you."

My breath stopped.

Jay-jay: "…you don't even know if I'll choose you back."

Keifer: "I know."

Jay-jay: "…you're that confident?"

Keifer: "No."

A pause.

Then—

Keifer: "I'm that sure."

And before I could respond—

Before I could think—

Before I could pull back—

He kissed me.

This time—

It wasn't soft.

It wasn't careful.

It wasn't asking.

It was—

Deep.

Intense.

Possessive.

Like everything he wasn't saying—

Was being said all at once.

His grip at my waist tightened.

Not enough to hurt.

But enough to hold.

To keep.

To make it clear—

He wasn't letting go.

And I—

I didn't push him away.

Didn't stop him.

Didn't hesitate.

Because this time—

I kissed him back just as hard.

Somewhere in the distance—

Voices.

Section E.

Of course.

Felix: "I KNEW IT!"

Calix: "THEY'RE NOT IN CLASS!"

Mayo: "FIND THEM!"

Kit: "THEY'RE DEFINITELY HAVING A MOMENT!"

David: "…leave them."

But we didn't hear them.

Not really.

Because right now—

Nothing else existed.

When we finally pulled apart—

It wasn't far.

Still close.

Still breathing the same air.

Still caught in something neither of us could walk away from.

Keifer (low): "Still want me to stop?"

I should've said yes.

I didn't.

Jay-jay (quiet): "…no."

End of Chapter

Some love stories are soft.

Easy.

Safe.

This wasn't one of them.

This was sharp edges.

Unspoken rules.

Lines crossed without permission—

But not without meaning.

Because this time—

They weren't holding back.

And whatever this was becoming—

It wasn't just love anymore.

It was something darker.

Something deeper.

Something neither of them was ready to escape. ✨
