Knowing James, this is serious, I'd accepted his offer and became apart of his team, becoming one of the senior staff member of this facility, I didn't needed James to tell me where I am, this is the Arcana Menjum facility.
I'll say this facility, the rumors and myth surrounding this facility, are insignificant in comparison, the equipment is the latest and most advance models, and personals are quite well train, knowing that this is Arcana Menjum, is safe for me to assume I'll have to deal some unforseen magical mishaps, and side-effects on people.

This is Dr. Aron James this is my latest record log, after the incident involving Subject 0300, and the lost of 6% of the staff, to her contagion, I'd decided to make this new type of log, not my personal thoughts, or documents on the subjects, but various things of Arcana Menjum facility, without breaking the oath I've made to withheld some information.
Today I'll talk about the facility itself, it location I won't reveal but it's importance, that I can reveal.
I'm not sure when exactly the R.I.H. originally constructed this facility, but it was built with the special conditions, constructed on ancient hallowed ground, with ancient, and powerful, protective runes etched in the most important coordinates, that have great significance on various method of runecraft.
Even with my knowledge, I could never imagine such a level of architecture ingenuity to design this facility, then they made its interior design is based of the sacred magic number of eight, the symbol of infinity, that can strengthen magical spells, wards, glyphs, and protecting runes, etched into the very core of the support pillars, rooms of importance, and the centers of each level.
One spell, that I'm allow knowledge of is the spacial expansion, allowing more rooms to be made, without the risk of losing space soon, even I'm not sure of the exact room number on each floor of the facility, but that's a great boon in our work, and maintaining the subjects locked behind their assigned rooms...[Sigh]...that is enough of the structure of the Arcana Menjum.

Let's now talk about, the main reason this facility was made, and designed with such specific detail of magical reinforcement, this facility primary function is to seal away all magical mishaps that have occurred, throughout the progress of magic.
One can only imagine, the through age that this facility was built, if it's primary function is detainment, separation, and seclusion from the rest of civilization, it truly remarkable.

As such, as time passed, both magic and science started to advance to so did this facility, reinforced and augmented every time, a new discovery that can serve it betterment is made, from stronger materials, self sustaining wards, endless energy, and renewal water, if needed this facility can double as a fallout shelter, that can willstand apocalyptic events...[Background: Honestly this place, has become more of a home to me, and a prison to others...]...sorry where was I, ohh yes...
[Clear throat] Arcana Menjum, main function is to contain safely items, and people that have been affect by magic in anyway or form, ranging from ancient to modern spellcraft, science-craft, potion-craft, and even artifact interaction, in fact the number designation system is derived from this, I'll explain in further detail in another time.
At first this facility was used as a site to seal away all magical mishaps, and unwanted side-effects without care, even bringing end to what could have revolutionary at the time, for fear of what it might cause if set loose upon, a greater populace.
But then in the year 1839, a grandmage and scientist name Henry Grimm, he reopened the Arcana Menjum, and using technology, and the science at that time, along with magic, found ways to solve the greatest issues of once banned or outright dangerous magical techniques, discoveries, relics, and even managed to reuse some artifacts to pave the way for a new age of science and magic, he is considered the father of modern science-craft, and personally one of my idols.
Many statues, blueprints, papers, and artworks of Henry Grimm, are kept in Arcana Menjum, as he is the forefather of what we're trying to achieve, solve these issues with Rejuvenate, and save the patients that are locked in here.
I think that enough of a historical lesson for now, I hope this proves useful to whoever come after me, or young pioneers of any of the fields...science...medicine...psychology...magic...and even science-craft, end of history series log 1.
This is the audio log 2 of the history of Arcana Menjum, I'm doctor Aron James, speaking.
My first log, talked about basic history of this facility, along with the brief introduction of the forefather of science-craft, Henry Grimm, and the main function of the facility, Arcana Menjum.
I'll not only talk about the numeral designation and placement of the subjects, artifacts, and relics, but also what these assignments to the contained magical objects and seal people within the facility, let's start speaking with the designation of things seals in this facility...[Clear throat] all number designations are given to organized the total amounts of objects, and...people...sealed, studied, and treated, as relics, artifacts, and subjects are brought and taken out of the facility.
Example Relic 0012, can be proven useful, and safely redesign to prevent whatever magical mishap or side-effect, it was originally brought to the facility, and thus removed from filing, leaving that number open for the next relic, or artifact, or God forbid another subject.
Hence the logs, showing vastly larger numbers, when two relics or two subjects could have been brought at the same time, it's that simple, it just to organize records and assignation of the many, many wonderous...but dangerous...but still wonderous things inside of this facility.

That should explain, the unique recording system that the facility has, I'll now like to talk about the difference between the type of assignation, example; what is a relic?
A relic is the codename, given to items invented with magic, or science-craft to be made, from a vehicle, a special part, a new material, or even regretfully I'd say Rejuvenate design items, and medicine should fall in the category of relics, but the potential that Rejuvenate present, as the first multi-task form of magic, I along with many other can't let years, upon years of development and dedication go to waste...sorry, I can't speak more of this, you'd understand as we fix everything...

That practically covers the category of relics, aside items, meds, one can categorized weapons, equipment, and magical powered machines relics as well, but that I have to proceed, next let's talk about artifacts.
Artifacts, are very complicated, not only because of the magical power, and more than likely volatile nature of these objects, but for their age...for artifacts are objects of ancient history, created by powerful, and sometime lost spellcraft, that makes them nearly impossible to deal with, let alone study.
Because the danger, and near impossibility to repurpose a artifact, they're mostly only handled by the combine talents of various divisions, and carefully, while the great Henry Grimm, managed to repurpose up to seven ancient artifacts, there's only been four more, successful repurposing of artifacts, after...in fact, I think that the only research that should be stopped is with artifacts, from a personal opinions, but also from...experience...[Sighing] [Background: Son...why did you do it?] I must apologize once again, I need a moment, I'll resume this log on a later date, please...please just give me a moment...
Hello again, this the continuation of the audio log 2 of the history of Arcana Menjum, I am Dr. Aron James, I must apologize for my previous outburst, I'm alright and ready to finish this log properly.
Now the last category is Subjects, which coincidentally I'm currently studying and treating at the moment, the category is exclusively given to people, that have experienced severe symptoms and side-effects from magical mishaps of new created magical techniques, craft, wards, and much more.
I can't speak currently how many Subjects I'm attending total at the moment, as I'm strictly under oath from the council of Granmages, but I truly believe that these subjects, my patients, I can save them, I can cure them, and once achieving this, Rejuvenate can resume testing and refinement, so I...sorry, I forgot that this isn't a personal log, please let's return to the original subject...
Subjects are the main priority of this facility, for through helping these souls, we help the world in turn, by solving, healing, and eliminating all negative affects and reactions, new magic and magicraft will be made in the future.
