After an hour, Navi woke up.
His body still felt weak, and his mind couldn't think straight yet. The wound on his head was already gone, but the other wounds across his body were still slowly healing.
He moved slightly.
That was when he saw Jake's body lying beside him.
Navi froze.
For a moment, he couldn't move.
Then everything came rushing back.
The gunshots.
Cameron.
Jake falling.
"Jake…" Navi whispered.
He crawled toward him and tried to shake him awake.
"Jake… wake up… come on…"
But Jake didn't move.
Navi started crying as he kept trying to wake him.
His mind was still foggy and weak, but he suddenly remembered something.
Cameron.
And where he was probably heading.
Navi's eyes widened.
"My house…"
Gab and Shiela were there.
And the swords.
Forcing his weak body to move, Navi stood up and began to run.
His legs trembled, and every step hurt, but he kept going.
He ran through the forest and back toward the town.
When he finally reached his house, he immediately noticed something.
The door was open.
There was no sound.
No movement.
Nothing.
Slowly, Navi approached the door.
His heart was pounding.
And then he saw them.
Gab and Shiela were lying on the floor.
Their bodies were still.
Both of them had bullet holes in their heads.
Navi froze.
His stomach twisted violently.
He suddenly turned away and threw up on the floor.
His whole body shook as he staggered deeper into the house.
"...No…"
He slowly walked toward the basement where the swords were stored.
When he entered—
he saw his dog lying on the floor.
Dead.
That was when Navi finally broke completely.
He collapsed to his knees.
He was crying, but at the same time he started laughing.
Not a happy laugh.
A broken one.
A terrifying sound that echoed through the empty basement.
After a while, the laughter stopped.
Navi just sat there silently, staring at his dog's lifeless body.
The swords were gone too.
Some time later, the police arrived at his house.
They found Navi sitting quietly in the basement.
Blood everywhere.
Bodies in the house.
Without asking many questions, they arrested him.
But Navi didn't react.
He didn't resist.
He just sat there and let them take him.
One of the officers tried to take the sword Navi was holding.
But Navi's grip didn't loosen.
They tried harder to pull it away.
Then—
Navi moved.
With one swift motion, he swung the sword.
The officer trying to take it was cut clean in half.
Another officer who was putting handcuffs on him had his head sliced off instantly.
The other police officers immediately started shooting.
Gunshots echoed through the house.
One shot.
Five shots.
Ten shots.
Fifteen shots.
Bullets tore through Navi's body.
But before he finally collapsed—
he managed to kill one more officer.
Then his body fell to the ground.
