Chapter 14 - TYE MYTHICAL WEREWOLF (PART -3)

Chapter 7: The Dark Sorcerer

Deep in the northern peaks lurked Malrik, a sorcerer who had long sought the blood-moon power. Unlike Titan, Malrik was entirely human, but he had twisted his soul with dark magics, binding wolves and spirits to his will. He coveted Titan's strength, believing the cursed warrior could grant him dominion over the highlands.

On the eve of the blood moon, Malrik summoned a storm that twisted the forest, lightning cutting through the mist, thunder shaking the trees. Titan, sensing the disturbance, confronted the sorcerer in a clearing surrounded by ancient ruins.

Malrik laughed, voice echoing like cracking ice. "You think you are guardian? You are beast! You belong to the shadows, nothing more!"

Titan's eyes flared gold, and the earth trembled beneath his paws. But inside, the man remembered his oath to protect the villagers. He could feel the hunger of the beast clawing at him, begging for blood, but he suppressed it… for now.

Chapter 8: Betrayal in the Mist

Lysander, eager to help Titan, attempted to use the ancient rites. But the spirits of the forest, restless and unpredictable, revealed a truth: to fully defeat Malrik, Titan might have to embrace his monstrous side completely, risking his humanity forever.

Conflicted, Titan hesitated. The villagers' faces flashed before him—faces he had once protected, now terrified of the creature he had become. Could he strike Malrik down without letting the beast consume him?

At that moment, one of Malrik's loyal wolves—a massive shadow with eyes as red as fire—attacked Lysander. Titan's roar shattered the air, and he hurled the creature into the lightning-struck trees. But the act revealed his full power, catching even Malrik off guard.

Chapter 9: The Battle of the Blood Moon

The night erupted in chaos. Titan moved faster than the eye could follow, claws slicing through enchanted wards, fangs sinking into unnatural hides. Malrik's magic spiraled around them, summoning storms of shadow wolves and fire.

Titan's dual nature—man and beast—became both his weapon and his curse. The forest itself seemed to respond, trees bending, fog rising to shield him, whispers guiding his every strike.

At the heart of the battle, Titan faced Malrik directly. The sorcerer's magic clashed against the raw power of the blood-moon curse. Titan roared, summoning a surge of energy that shook the very mountains. Malrik screamed as Titan's golden eyes pierced his soul. With a final strike, the sorcerer fell, dissolving into the mist, leaving nothing but the echoes of his dark laughter.

Chapter 10: The Choice

The storm ended. The forest was silent. The villagers, hiding in trembling fear, emerged to see Titan standing amidst the ruins. His fur glowed silver in the moonlight, eyes golden and sad. He looked at Lysander.

"You've seen me," Titan said. "You know what I am. But what I must do… is mine alone."

Titan could stay human, restraining the beast, or embrace his full werewolf power, becoming the eternal guardian of the highlands—but never returning to the village he once loved.

He looked to the blood moon. The forest whispered, the spirits watched, and he made his choice.

Titan ran into the depths of the northern forests, disappearing into the mist. Some say he became legend, a shadow of vengeance and protection. Others claim he still hunts the greedy, the cruel, and the unworthy, guarding the forests with unrelenting vigilance.

Epilogue: The Legend Lives

Centuries passed, but Titan's name survived in hushed whispers around village fires. Travelers still vanish, sometimes leaving behind golden hairs shimmering in the moonlight. Shadows move in impossible ways. And on nights when the blood moon rises, the villagers swear they hear a voice carried by the wind:

"I am Titan. I am watcher. I am shadow."

The line between man and beast had vanished, leaving only the eternal presence of the werewolf who chose both power and duty—forever the guardian, forever the terror.
