When Elder Cassius and Clem arrived, Kara was still preparing breakfast with her children. Seraph tactically left his mother and sister in the kitchen, heading to the dining room like a curious kid.
"Ah, Elder. Good morning, sir."
He greeted politely, a bit surprised seeing him here. He had expected the Patriarch to ask Clem to bring it to the Manor. However, it was the opposite that occurred.
Smiling at him, Elder Cassius waved lightly. "Hello there, Seraph. It has been a while since I've seen you."
"Indeed." Seraph nodded, then turned to his father. "They want to test it here?"
Clem nodded with a smile, approaching the light bulb placed on the table. Elder Cassius also moved closer, a look of pure interest in his eyes.
"This is it? Looks simple but eye-catching."
Hearing that remark, Clem smirked. As a merchant, he knew very well that before he could gain the upper hand in a bargain, he needed to display his cards.
"Watch and see, Elder."
