Chapter 5 - Raven's Flew

*BANG!*

Two wooden swords clashed against one another, brother against brother.

In the middle of the battle, two brothers, both with near translucent skin, clashed against one another.

From the outside, the battle seemed almost like a childish quarrel, and yet for the two brothers, it was ego against ego. The two brothers, Arrax and Rhaegar, fought.

*AH*

Rhaegar yelled as he lifted his wooden blade high and struck down against his younger brother. Seething to hear his brother's exhaustion and pain, he paused only to receive a dirty underhook from Arrax, which threw the oldest prince off balance.

"Protect yourself at all times, Rhaegar!"

Ser Oswell yelled from the sideline, watching as the young boy he had been training for three years was being pushed back by his younger brother, who had just picked up a sword less than two minutes ago.

Ser Barristan Selmy watched from the sidelines as well, the two kingsguard overwatching the fight as passing servants halted before receiving a passing look by either guard and sending themselves away.

Although for the princes and the guards it seemed a simple battle to those who have eyes and ears far too large for themselves and mouths too active, this simple battle would easily sprout rumours around the realm.

*WAW*

The sound of wood splitting resounded in the open arena as Arrax pushed fully. Although his body was yet to turn five, he fought like a madman.

His power in his strikes resembled someone five years older instead of a normal four-year-old.

Both princes looked exhausted. Prince Rhaegar was bleeding from his nose from his brother's dirty hook, and Arrax looked...

Well, unpresentable with his skin already having bruising from Rhaegar's repeated brutal strikes.

The two fought like madmen as they struck one another. Their wooden swords were cracking, and splinters flying as the force being exerted by two caused the swords to warp and flex.

"Enough!"

Ser Oswell barked as he placed himself between the two princes. Although the fight was entertaining, he still had a job. A job to teach them the way of the sword and not watch as the only princes of the realm fight a dogfight against one another.

With the help of Ser Barristan as well, the two kinsmen managed to separate the two princes, as even with two fully grown men trying to separate the two, they still swung as if they were holding not wood but proper steel.

"ahahaha"

Exhausted sighs escaped from both princes as both kingsguard held each of them.

"Get off me!"

Rhaegar barked at Ser Oswell, forcing the guard to let go before a sudden crack resounded as the wooden sword within Rhaegar's hand snapped in two.

"You... lose!"

Arrax yelled across the arena with a triumphant smile upon his face.

"Oh ya?"

Rhaegar thought for but a second as he threw the piece of sword still within his hand across the arena, smacking the young Arrax on the face.

Silence rang loudly as nobody moved. Rhaegar seemed only then to realise what he had just done as a piercing cry came barreling from Arrax.

"Wahhhhhh!"

The sound made any listener stop and look as rapid footsteps, strong and angry, filled the arena in place of the crying.

From one of the many corridors queen Rhaella came flying out holding her dress in both hands as she crossed the arena in six steps before laying a forceful smack across Prince Rhaegar's face.

"You little Shit! Apologise to you, younger brother."

The queen barked at the young prince as both the king's guards, once holding the prince back, stood straight as they partially bowed to the suddenly arrived queen.

"Bu, But, But he Star-"

Rhaegar tried to cry out as his face rapidly swelled before his mother cut him off.

"Your brother was nearly assassinated, and do not forget he is three summers younger than you!"

Her voice was as cold as ice as she listed off a reason after a reason of differences between the two, as Arrax's crying came to a halt.

"Ser Oswell!"

The queen's icy cold eyes turned to the kingsguard who instinctively straightened his back.

The knight, already kneeling, bowed lower as he replied.

"Yes, your majesty!"

"Your duty was to protect the royal bloodline, or am I incorrect?"

"Off-course not, your majesty."

"Then why have you let both my sons. The only heirs to the seven kingdoms fight and only interview when both have beaten each other black and blue?"

Ser Oswell looked down at the marble floor as he couldn't reply.

"And you!"

Queen Rhaella turned to Ser Barristan.

"I get you were just knighted only a few years ago, but has your common sense been thrown out of your mind?"

Ser Barristan couldn't dare look at her majesty as he too bowed even further upon the floor, making sure not to show any type of reaction which might incite his punishment.

"By the seven!"

The queen let out an exhausted sigh whilst mumbling.

"If only I had two girls..."

Every man, servant, boy, anyone who had ears heard her majesty turned away.

"You!"

Rhaella called out to a corner of the arena to show a maid trying to hide herself behind a pillar.

"Y-yes, your majesty?"

"Take my children and these failures of knights to Maester Pycelle's room to get treatment."

"Off-course, your majesty."

The maid bowed as knights and princes both moved in a single pack, heads down as they moved towards the Grand Master's room.

- Arrax's Mind -

'What a shit show'

Arrax thought within his mind as he placed foot after foot, making sure to hide his red and bruised face.

'I don't even know why I'm crying, I've taken worse and dissed out worst when I was human in my past life?'

Arrax's mind returned to silence as he looked at his supposed older brother.

- The Corridor -

"I beat you..."

Arrax's words were as if a rock had been thrown into a calm lake. And then the lake responded.

"Like shit!"

Rhaegar yelled as, without missing a beat, he jumped upon his younger brother as both flew punches at one another.

"Princes Please!"

The maid screamed as Ser Oswell and Barristan stood frozen before they felt a piercing gaze hit their skulls and separate the two princes.

The commotion seemed to stir the nest as a sharp and cold voice rang.

"What's happening?"

From a corner came a man dressed in red and yellow. His beard, although short, was trimmed to near perfection along with his blond, lush hair.

"Oh Lord hand!"

The maid jumped before bowing.

"My Lord!"

Both kingsguard knelt, releasing the two princes, who in turn looked at the golden lion.

"Tywin Lannister."

Prince Arrax called out, forgetting his tongue.

The golden lion, although getting on in years, showed his golden mane proudly as he looked upon the two princes with his eyes, looking at the state in which both were.

Tywin's eyes then turned to the kingsguard besides each prince.

"Why are the heirs to this kingdom in such a state?"

Although a simple question, the way in which Tywin's voice resonated with each word made the knights wish they had been caught by the queen again rather than the hand.

"A simple fight, my lord, nothing to worry about... A training between the two went wrong, so to say."

Ser Barristan replied as he peacefully looked at his other half, Oswell.

"That is indeed true, your lord hand."

Oswell spoke little as the golden lion looked at each other like a lion two which had found a feast.

"And where is the quad of halfwits going?"

Tywin turned to the maid, who looked startled and spouted with a high-pitched broken tone.

"Grand Maester Pycelle's room, my Lord Hand!"

The maid then returned to looking at the ground as Tywin took in the information.

"Well, isn't that convenient? I was just going to see the Grand Maester myself. Why don't we travel as a group? wouldn't want any unforeseen fights to break out again."

Tywin's blue eyes turned to both king's guards, then to the princes, as he turned and, without signalling, made them all step behind.
