That night after dinner Leo had a real hard time falling asleep while Lura was passed out beside him still drooling from being intoxicated with alcohol.
He thought about his new power that happened from the [Failure System] and what it could possibly mean, there was no real explanation to what happened other then he failed to protect Lura and defeat the slime nest but in return the system helped him achieve his goal.
Was there a bigger plot at what the [Failure System] was actually doing for him in return for failing? It did tell him that he had no choice in the matter but to fail the mission.
As it dawned on him he realized it, it was in front of his nose this whole time and it's called the [Failure System], to him this meant he could only achieve success through failure. As he thought of this more and more the system activated yet another prompt in his vision
[Failure System Notification]
[Do not fall asleep]
[Failure to do so will create a penalty]
Now the system won't allow him to fall asleep? This seemed like a small matter to him and not before long Leo drifted into slumber.
When he awoke the next morning the system was flashing red with a new prompt in front of his face.

[Sleeping has activated the penalty]
He stared at this screen for almost 10min wondering what the penalty was, then before he knew it the Moon-Petal Flower in his bag began to glow and rise out, it started to morph into the Slime-King right in his room.
This was bad, Lura was still asleep and the SLime-King is known to dissolve a lot of different types of materials. He woke up Lura who was groggy this morning and quickly grabbed his stuff, as she was still getting dressed he panicked and scooped her up in a frenzy then ran down the stairs.
"Don't want breakfast today Leo?" The bar keeper asked to watch them run by.
"Not today, and I'm so sorrryyyy!" He yelled out while running out the door.
"Sorry for what?" the bar keeper was confused and looked back at his room as a loud-thundering crash happened and the SLime-KIng appeared through the wall.
"Oh great...this is what I get for letting adventurers stay" she sighed and walked into the back room.
The Slime-King let out a roar and quickly slithered off out the tavern after Leo and Lura.
"Let me put on my clothes!" Lura yelled at Leo while being carried down the street in front of everyone.
Leo looked back to see the SLime-King crash out of the tavern and into the building on the other side before looking at him and letting out another scream and start heading in their direction.
"Lura we don't have time! Look behind us!"
"Uhhh master what is that?" She asked curiously
"That's the Slime-King, it appeared from the flower we picked yesterday and now it's after us! If it touches us our clothes will dissolve off, we cannot let that happen!" He frantically shouted at her.
"Ahhh let me put my clothing on then!"
Leo slipped down an alley real quick so Lura could slip into her armor, he tried to catch his breath for a min but not before long the Slime-King was outside the alley and staring down at them.
Leo slowly gazed up to meet the Slime-Kings face and it ran a cold chill down his spine. The Slime-King was huge compared to the other slimes they slayed back at the nest and this slime was red colored with a crown-shaped bubble hanging off its head.
He quickly used his [Appraisal] skill to asses the monster.

Looking at the drops Leo instantly knew he needed to have Lura defeat this slime, but as he looked at her she had a shakey look to her almost like PTSD from the slime nest. She was on the ground staring at the slime king and in a split second Leo ran and grabbed her hand to pull her down the alley.
The slime-King squeezed itself into the narrow path and began to slip down the alley after them dissolving all the trash and boxes left there. As the Slime-King dissolved matter it began to grow little by little.
Leo and Lura finaly reached the end of the alley into the main street and looked around as the other adventurers were confusing to see them in such a hurry.
"This way!" Leo said as he pulled Lura down the merchant street towards the guild. He knew if they couldn't defeat this somehow they would need to go to the only place where most adventurers who could would be gathered.
Leo kicked open the guild doors not in an arrogant way like when he first arrived but in a panic and the adventurers quickly turned to meet their gazer at the entrance.
"What's wrong little E Rank? Get into a fight you can't handle?" The adventurers laughed as they all knew about his status.
"The King-Slime is on its way here! Its been summoned!" He yelled this, as he was all sweaty from running with a choked voice.
"King-Slime? That's a unique monster of legend, no one here as even seen one" One adventurer said this in an almost suspicious tone.
"I summoned it, I gathered the Moon-Petal Flower, and had it in my bag since last night! This morning when I woke up the Flower morphed into the King-Slime and destroyed my room!"
Right as he said this a shadow was casted into the guild's entrance and the adventurers that Leo and Lura were facing started to drop their jaws and food they were holding at the time.
Leo slowly turned around and then started to look up, the King-Slime was now almost as tall as the Guilds castle and blocked out the sun. The king-Slime slowly peered down at Leo before letting out a deep rumbling roar and spitting Red goop all over him.
