**twenty years ago, in the Elven kingdom**
In the garden of the king palace, there's four figures gathering together to enjoy the morning light. There was Lucas, lysine, his wife Alicia and baby Ellie. Lucas and lysine were sparing with wooden sword while Alicia sitting nearby while carrying Ellie in her arms.
"Father!...haha". Lysine calming voice echoing through the flower garden.
"Haha! That's the spirit!." Lucas's chasing after her with a smile.
"Go Lysine go! ." Alicia's carrying baby Ellie cheering from the bench.
It's been three years after Ellie was born. And everything went just fine. Valix's went abroad to learn swordsmanship with commendation from Duke Bellonia.
Everything just fine back then. Until three years later when the information about the Elven kingdom got leaked and the kingdom is raided by intruder lead by his cousin, Lisan.
"Heh, this all would never happened if you gave me the throne Lucas." Lisan voice mocking Lucas mourning for Alicia's death by protecting Ellie.
"No..no!... Alicia!.. Alicia!.." he cries and holding Alicia's bloodied body in his arms desperately while Ellie's unconscious in her arms.
And before Lisan can swing his sword, lysine appeared and fighting her uncle despite her own injuries after defending herself against the enemies.
"Father!. Get a hold of it!." She shouts at Lucas behind her.
"You!..why do you do this uncle!?." She's says holding her ground.
"Why?. Isn't it obvious?. The elves can't always hiding from outside world my niece. We need to step outside and blending in with human" he says with mockery.
"Jade forest filled with treasures, think about the money we could make by selling them." He says laughing.
"You... disgraceful bastard!" Lucas voice echoing with anger. He gets up while carrying both Alicia and Ellie before taking a step past lysine his eyes burning with flames toward his cousin.
"You're not longer my family!" With that, Lucas slide his finger horizontally and decapitate his cousin head with his magic.
"... father?" Lysine were caught off guard when the head rolling against the rug.
"I'm...fine... let's get to safety now." his body trembling as he walks.
Both of them exhausted from the attack. Once they reach outside, the kingdom were overturned. Dead bodies everywhere, houses burned into ash and the sound of blade clashing filled the scene. They drag their body to evacuate, walking through bodies and blood until they're reaching where knights were debating whether they should help the king or not.
The knights immediately rushed toward their king to protect him. But alas, there's an enemy hiding beneath the corpse and lunges himself toward Lucas with his sword aiming for the chest.
Stab!
Blood dripping. Air freezed. His eyes widen in terror when he sees lysine's the one who got stabbed Infront of him. Her sword broken from the impact and failed to protect herself. The sight broke him and forcing him to use a forbidden spell.
"{Extinction}"
In a second, the world as if stopped before a ray of golden light smites every enemies inside the barrier surrounding the kingdom. After using that, he collapsed. Losing both his wife and daughter and seeing them lying lifelessly beside him, before passing out he reach out for Ellie's hand and holding it tight as if afraid she'll gone too if he let go.
And since that day. The Elven kingdom keep themselves hidden and cuts all connection with their previous business outside, except for Bellonia who's came by immediate the day after the incident. The Duke, August father's visiting the Elfen kingdom with Valix and August himself to give aid to the kingdom.
Both party have known each other since generation and their bond formed with trust rather than business. The Duke came the moment news reach his ears and immediately cancel everything in order to help his friends.
Lucas's stay seated beside Alicia and lysine grave, grieving from his lost. Alucard, the Duke stay with his friends while Valix and August went to watching Ellie who's still unconscious on her bed.
"Lucas..." The Duke holding his friend's shoulder.
"We should head back now. There's still Valix and Ellie waiting for you." His voice low and gentle.
"...yeah... you're right.." he sigh and collected himself before getting up with Alucard's help.
"Im sorry... both of you. I'll make sure both Valix and Ellie continue living. I promise." He whisper to the graves before walking away together.
"If you want revenge, just tell me. I'll sent my knight to help you my friend." The Duke word of reassurance linger in Lucas mind even after his death five years later.
**Present time**
The air's silence. Grounds covered in blood. The battlefield filled with dust. Everyone witnessing stunned and frozen by the sight of Nein standing on the pile of corpses, unscathed and bloodied with an anchor in his hand.
He turn the ground upside down by throwing the anchor toward the enemies with a devastating blow. He swings that anchor like nothing and destroy his enemies by crushing their body Since it's already revealed that he's been fighting an undead.
"There's no end for this. {Tracer}...." He pause to find the source of all this lines controlling the bodies.
"There you are." He found the mages and take his anchor weighing down lysine body underneath, he break her legs first before stepping forward.
He take his stance and holding the anchor like a javelin. He aim toward where the one controlling at and flexes his muscles before whispering.
"[Mountain splitter]"
The anchor thrown in high speed. Reshaping the ground it flying through. Trees reduced to ash. The walking dead got sweep effortlessly until it reach the magician and destroy they're body before finally stopping after hitting the tree.
All the bodies now collapse and die for real. The magician's dead, can be seen by how the throw opening a path through the woods before stopping. He went to grab it while Lucas walk to lysine decayed body and seeing his daughter again. Everyone begin to emerges and witnessing the aftermath of the onslaught.
"Alicia.. I don't see Alicia's body.." Lucas said desperately while looking around the body.
Then suddenly the sky goes dark with a huge shadow above the kingdom. Everyone looks up and devastated. It's a dragon, a decay dragon that's begin to controlling the bodies again. Nein went to act immediately by chaining the bodies to the ground.
"LUCAS!." Nein shouts as he rushed toward everyone. "THE BARRIER!!".
His voice help him clear his minds and begin casting back the barrier. Everyone start to evacuate, taking the injured with them. The dragon dive down in high speed toward the kingdom.
CRASH!!!
And with a loud impact, Lucas manage to fix the barrier before the dragon manage to passed through. The impact create a small earthquake and damaging the dragon itself.
"Aww...what a bummer." A voice can be heard above them. A voice that make Lucas blood boiling immediately.
"Ah... Lucas. Did you miss me?." It was Lisan, alive and fused with the dragon and mocking him.
"LISAN!!" he shouts furiously and about to losing control.
"Stop." Nein use the chain to restrict Lucas action.
"Release the barrier and you'll lose everyone. I'm here to help, so cool your head your majesty." His voice carries easily amidst the fury.
His voice calm and familiar, reminding Lucas to his late friend. He's awake and take a deep breath before gathering his mind.
"Sorry. That was my fault. So Nein, can you drag that disgrace Infront of me?. I'll pay you extra for that." He's calm but still refused to look directly at Lisan, or maybe at someone familiar behind him.
"And please...if you may, don't damage the woman behind him. Can you do that?" He's desperate, almost begging.
"Understood."
Nein thrown his anchor immediately and causing the dragon to flew away from the kingdom's barrier. He take a last glance at Lucas before disappearing into smoke. Leaving him alone with his regrets.
