Away from the kingdom's wall. Lisan's finally hit the ground after dragged with Nein's anchor. He escape from the weight by dividing his dragon body and begin to heal. But Nein suddenly appear and land a kick to the dragon's neck making it skids backwards.

"You...who the hell are you?." Lisan's pissed and annoyed.

"Not important, let's make this quick because you're reminding me of something unpleasant." He says while retrieving the spear.

They're currently standing on a empty fields deep in the forest. Lisan's body growing more before summoning dead monster around him. Nein use whip-spear now since the anchor can't be used often.

"Don't get in my way!". With that, the monster begin to charge toward Nein.

Meanwhile in the Elfen kingdom. Ignis's keep forcing herself to stand. It hurts her pride that she's vulnerable in the worse situation while there's a man she looks down risking his life for them.

The Elven knights starting to cleaning up the mess while hearing a distant roar deep in the forest and something hideous along with it. Ellie's standing beside lysine body tied by Nein's magic, it's her first time seeing her sister in person again and not just a picture of her.

While Lucas's busy to lead his peoples and Valix already went to help the knights after refusing to see his dead sister because he afraid he'll falling weak if he does. Ellie's attention shifts toward the commotion Ignis were making in the distance.

"Let me go!. I need to go help that man!" She insisted and ignoring the call from the medic.

"Miss Ignis. Your injury wouldn't allow you. It's not your fault... please take some rest." The medics plead while preventing her from getting away.

"What happened here?." Ellie's voice cutting through the chaos.

"Princess, please tell miss Ignis to rest... she's not supposed to be moving now because her legs -" the medic words stopped after seeing Ellie's lifted hand.

"Second commander Ignis. This is not something we can handle. A dragon shows up now and a powerful one at that." She pause as she grab her hands.

"Let's pray that Nein, can do something about it. Everyone saw that too right?. That he's still hiding his true power." Her voice gentle.

Upon hearing that, Ignis mind were taken back by the scene of him turning the battlefield upside down alone and what remains from his anchor trajectory that split the woods in straight line. And with that, she accepts it heavily and fall to her knees. The knights that should be the help now become the victim.

Back to where the battle holds. The first green and flat terrain now filled with holes and corpse, plants withering from the decaying breath of the dragon, it's a bad situation for Nein since the chain only managed to restrict the movement of the dragon. His hair turning grey from using his ability too much.

His breath labored and struggling to maintain his ground while Lisan's getting bigger the longer they fight by taking the life from the plants and consuming the monster to strengthen himself.

"HAHAHA!!. IM INVINCIBLE!!!". His voice echoes through the air.

Nein's thinking about running away and abandon the mission. But he insisted to stay and thinks. He's no longer have enough smoke to use {anchor of destruction} since he need to maintain {chain of restriction} to hold the bodies back in the kingdom and Lisan from getting up to the sky. He's frustrated and restless to find a way while Lisan keep launching an attack to break his focus.

Stab!

He's starting to get overwhelmed by it as he begin to falter and got stabbed. A bone coming out from the ground and pierce through his arm. And that's making him flinches, if only he can focused on one role, he'd easily win this fight.

His hair keep losing it's color the more the fight goes on. He's fighting a monster with human minds making his plan means nothing against someone cunning. He stumbled down by his own chain for thinking too much and vulnerable for a split second. Lisan's tentacles immediately went to strangling his neck and pulling him closer to his face with a mocking grin.

"Hehehahaha, look at you trying. You pathetic human." He mock while tighten the grip around his neck.

Nein starting to losing his consciousness. The spear falls to the ground along with the fading chains. His body limp as his eyes closing slowly. For a moment, he saw an image of someone familiar, it was his younger and older sister.

"[Barrier]"

A white light suddenly appear and cut the tentacles strangling him. Followed by flaming swords that cuts through the dragon's neck and making it to retreating in immediately. Nein's struggling to catch his breath before he lift his head and saw Ignis standing Infront of him with her sword held high.

"You did a great job buying us time. You gain my respect, Nein winter." Her voice strong and steady.

And with everyone there standing around him. It's their turn to help him. Lucas standing beside Nein kneeling form and holding his shoulder firmly.

"It's our time to help you. Just rest now, Nein." He take a step forward until stopped beside Ignis.

"And... white hair really suits you." He add with a jest.

And with the joining forces standing Infront of him. He can't help but smiles and rose up to his feet, the spear firm in his hand.

"Then I'll support you. Leave the defense to me and stall him for a moment before I end it once for all." Determination clear in his voice as he regained his composure.

He use his authority and cast {veil of protection} that shielding them from any hit, {fog of oblivion} to hinder the dragon sight and recasting {chain of restriction} to keep it stay on the ground.

"GRRR...RRARRGGHH!!. DON'T MESS WITH ME!!." Lisan's furiously summons more minions.

Lucas cast his magic and crushed the summons. Ignis charges with the knights and fending against the monster along with the guards lead by Valix. The ranger keep shooting their arrows alongside the mages casting their magic. While Nein focused with support and keeping the dragon restricted from any movement.

Meanwhile, Ellie and the rest of the forces stay in the kingdom to keep it safe. She's exhausted and sitting near the apple tree after using her devine magic {restoration} to heal every injured person around her the moment she notices Nein's magic fading away. She sits there leaning against the tree before closing her eyes and sleep, wishing for everyone to win.

Hours of battles goes on. The dragon become smaller now since nothing left for it to empowering itself. Everyone's exhausted from their battles against the endless monster waves. Nein's hair regaining it's color back. Despite the dragon state, it still able to shoot it's breath and using the tentacles around to prevent anyone to getting closer.

Nein take a step forward and use {anchor of destruction} once more that's immediately making his hair turned white again. He looks behind him and smiles before leap to the sky and about to throw the anchor toward the dragon, only for him to stop and notice something in the distance. The invisible wall revealed a bunch of people surrounding a purple orb, he use {tracer} immediately and spot the connection between the orb and the dragon.

He changes his target and aiming to the orb instead. The sight terrified Lisan and immediately know where's he's aiming at.

"STOOOP!!!". He shouts helplessly against the chain.

"[Mountain splitter]".

He throws the anchor toward the invisible wall and penetrate the barrier effortlessly before hitting the orb and create a huge explosion that vaporized anything in fifty meter radius. And with that, he fall to the ground. The chains disappear. Since the source of Lisan power were gone, he begin to losing the dragon form and scrambling like terrified animal.

Ignis leap off to caught Nein falling form and carrying him in her arms. He's unconscious and alive. She smiles and chuckles fondly, seeing this vulnerable man she carries were also their savior.

Meanwhile, Lucas's already trapping Lisan inside a barrier. He returned to his human form and is furious while throwing curses toward his cousin outside the barrier. Only him hearing that though since his voice trapped inside.

"What are we gonna do about him father?" Valix ask with conflicted expression.

"I.. don't want to repeat the same mistake again by not killing him properly back then." He pause and take a deep breath while carrying his dead wife's body in his arm.

"I'll let our savior to decide. It's his job anyway."

And with that, along with evening lights, the battles end with no one died today. All because one man that refuse to give up.
