Chapter 29 - The Zodiac Assembly

Meanwhile…

As Ken and Lucy walked side by side toward the bus stop, the morning air felt unusually heavy.

Lucy's cheeks were flushed.

Her thoughts were a mess.

She couldn't stop replaying what she had seen earlier in Ken's room.

The image lingered—

Clear. Vivid. Unsettling.

She shook her head repeatedly, as if trying to throw the thoughts away.

No… stop thinking about it…

But the more she resisted—

The more it came back.

Ken noticed.

He glanced at her, slightly concerned.

"Is something wrong?" he asked.

Lucy immediately looked away.

"Uhmm… nothing!" she replied quickly, then began walking faster ahead of him.

Ken blinked.

Then—

A faint smirk formed on his lips.

Hmm… is she… jealous? he thought, amused.

"Oy! Wait for me!" Ken called out as he hurried after her.

Meanwhile… In Another Timeline

Far beyond their world—

Beyond the limits of time—

The Zodiacs had gathered.

At the very center of the universe stood a kingdom unlike any other—

A celestial dominion built upon a massive planet known as Noctyra.

A world that defied all logic.

Six moons hovered in its vast sky—

And its sheer size dwarfed Earth, being five times larger in scale.

The atmosphere itself carried a strange tension.

Something was off.

Several of the Zodiacs moved differently—

Their will no longer their own.

Every one of them… now followed a single ruler.

Leo.

At the center of a grand chamber, a massive rectangular table stood.

Long and imposing—

It stretched across the hall like a throne of authority itself.

The Zodiacs were seated along its sides, each one silent and composed—

And at the very head of the table sat Leo.

A perfect symbol of dominance.

A king above all.

The air was cold.

Heavy.

Oppressive.

"Have you found Luna?" Leo asked, his voice calm… yet commanding.

No one dared to speak carelessly.

Libra stepped forward.

"We have detected an abnormal fluctuation in time," Libra reported. "It appears that someone has interfered with it. I believe… she has traveled across timelines."

A murmur spread faintly across the room.

Aquarius spoke next.

"We also encountered something unusual recently," they added. "We saw Luna… and she wasn't alone."

Leo's eyes narrowed slightly.

"A man… and a woman with red hair were with her."

A pause.

"And what's more… the Luna we saw was using Divine Magic."

The tension intensified.

Pisces, who had been present during that encounter, continued.

"They opened a portal… and escaped."

A low scoff echoed.

"Time manipulation?" Taurus growled. "Foolish mortals. They dare use forbidden magic… something even the gods themselves are not allowed to wield."

But instead of anger—

Leo smiled.

A slow, dangerous smile.

"As I suspected…" he muttered.

"If my assumption is correct… Luna must know the location of the two Seeds."

His gaze sharpened.

"And that red-haired woman… does she possess power?"

Aquarius nodded.

"When we encountered them, she wielded Divine Magic," they said. "She was also carrying the Divine Magic Sword… the same weapon once used by Emelyra."

Silence fell.

Heavy.

Unsettling.

"And the red-haired man…" Aquarius continued, "…he wielded dark magic."

Then—

Leo laughed.

A deep, echoing laugh that filled the entire chamber.

"So… Emelyra has returned."

His voice darkened.

"At last… our revenge can begin."

"For the billions of years she sealed us away…"

The atmosphere trembled.

"Capricorn," Leo called.

"Analyze the timelines. Find where they are."

Capricorn bowed immediately.

"As you command."

Leo leaned back, his expression unreadable.

"I have a feeling… the Seeds are no longer in this timeline."

A pause.

"They are… wherever Luna is."

Then—

His smile returned.

Colder this time.

More terrifying.

"But before that…"

His eyes gleamed with cruelty.

"Since Emelyra is now a mere mortal…"

"I will make her experience… true suffering."
