Ash felt that his luck with women had been overflowing lately, to the point where it was becoming a romantic tribulation. First, there was Lady Rin, whose memories he had temporarily forgotten, and then came his past-life girlfriend, Lusamine. If he hadn't behaved so well both in his past life and his current one, this might have truly turned into a disaster.
As for how Ash finally confirmed that Lusamine was indeed his past-life girlfriend, it was actually quite comical. Ash simply asked Lusamine what her favorite food was in her past life and what she had for her last meal, and then he immediately got yelled at.
"I had anorexia in my past life! Besides your ultra-concentrated meals, what else could I possibly like eating?! And I didn't even eat a last meal; I was on an IV glucose drip!"
Although he got yelled at, Ash was completely reassured. There was no doubt about it—this was definitely his girlfriend!
"By the way, I really didn't expect you to adopt children."
While Lillie and Gladion were chatting with Misty and Yellow, Ash secretly pulled Lusamine aside to ask about her adopting the kids. Lusamine smiled and said, "Since I retained my memories, do you really think I could ever look for another man? There's simply no comparison, is there?"
Saying this, Lusamine rested her head on Ash's shoulder. "With someone like you, who gave everything for me, setting the standard, how could I possibly fall for anyone else?"
"Um, even if you say that, I'm still going to build a harem this time..."

Lusamine immediately shot Ash a dangerous glare. Pinching his cheek, she said, "This is what's always so annoying about you. Can you not be so dense at a time like this?"
Despite having his cheek pinched, Ash still argued, "No, this is a matter of principle! Besides, I've already given my first time away!"
"..." Lusamine glanced at Elesa, who was flashing a 'V' for victory sign beside Ash, and then started dragging Ash away.
"Uh, what are you doing?"
"Doing you!"

"Let your Meowth tell them! Come on, you're going to sleep with us!"
And just like that, Ash was dragged away by Lusamine and Elesa, who was clearly enjoying the drama. Seeing Ash being hauled off, Gladion could only offer a helpless look. He had actually already accepted Ash as his 'father'. Even though the situation was absurdly magical, Ash wasn't just his mother's past-life lover; he was the savior of the Pokémon world. Plus, Gladion had watched the live broadcast of Ash's battle against the Tentacruel. The Ash who fought to protect his family back then was undeniably brilliant.
The next morning, Ash got up very early to prepare breakfast. Watching their boss, the hotel staff couldn't help but want to ask him for advice: exactly how did he maintain such incredible stamina?!
To be honest, Ash didn't know what was going on either. It seemed his body possessed a robust strength that couldn't be achieved just through training. But eventually, he stopped overthinking it. After all, having a great physical constitution was a good thing; it was a guarantee for his own safety.
While Ash was cooking, Gladion walked over.
"Hm? You're up early."
"Yeah, I want to start training my Pokémon. This is my Eevee, and Null."
Gladion said, pointing to the Eevee in his arms and the Type: Null standing beside him.
Ash looked at them and smiled. "They're both great partners. But for now, let's eat something first. Later on, I can teach your partners some Normal-type moves."
"Can you really?" Gladion was genuinely coveting Ash's self-created moves. After all, that kind of overwhelming power was no joke.
Ash chuckled and replied, "Don't get too ahead of yourself. Right now, they're only suited for moves that enhance their base abilities. Advanced offensive moves will have to wait until their physical strength is properly conditioned. After all, aside from Hyper Beam, most Normal-type moves rely heavily on physical prowess."
"I see..."
Hearing this, Gladion understood Ash's point. If a Pokémon's underlying physical strength wasn't enough, using overly powerful moves would likely result in severe backlash.
"Alright, since you're up so early, this portion is for you. I need to get back before your mom and Elesa wake up. We can talk more later."
Holding the breakfast Ash had given him, Gladion fell into deep thought as he watched this young 'father' of his.
"Maybe... this isn't so bad after all?"
