Celadon City. This was a place Ash needed to visit, but it was also one of his least favorite places to be, because of the smell here…
"Gah!! My nose! I knew my nose would suffer every time I came to Celadon City. The perfume smell here is too strong, and it's a mix of all kinds of scents! Ah! My nose is done for!" Ash felt dizzy smelling the mixture of perfumes around him. Chansey considerately supported Ash, while Meowth took out a face mask and put it on him, saying, "Honestly, boss, you always forget to put on a mask before entering Celadon City."
"Ugh, I'm alive again... Thanks. I'm going to go inspect the goods first... Hmm? Brock, what's wrong with you?"
When Ash turned his head, Brock was pressed against a glass window, staring inside like a total pervert. Seeing the people around them staring in their direction, Ash shrugged and dragged Misty away.
"You keep looking, I'm going to stock up on goods first."
"Okay, see you later. This place is truly heaven."
Seeing Brock act like this, the enthusiastic local residents around them slowly pulled out their phones.
After Ash brought Misty to a certain shop, he finally took off his mask. "Phew, the smell here is much better. At least it's better for the nose than those synthetic perfumes."
Misty was also very happy looking at the dazzling array of perfumes around them. Just as she was about to try one, a group of female clerks ran out.
"Master Ash, you've arrived! The flowers you requested are ready for inspection at any time!"
These female clerks were incredibly enthusiastic. Ash, however, acting as if he had long been accustomed to this, said, "Mm, I'll inspect them later when Erika gets here. For now, introduce my companion to the perfumes you have here. I'm paying."
Hearing that Ash was paying, the female clerks' eyes lit up, and they immediately said, "Please rest assured, we will use our best preparations to ready perfumes for your companion. Then, Master Ash, do you accept custom-made ones?"
Ash directly pulled out a black card and asked, "Tell me. Cash or card?"

"Please follow me, miss. We will craft the perfume that suits you best!"
A few clerks didn't even give Misty a chance to resist, directly grabbing her and hauling her away. Misty said in a panic, "Hey, wait a minute, what is going on?!"
"It's just custom-made perfume. I've helped Daisy and the others custom-order them before too, so Misty, just go with peace of mind!"
"Don't say it in such a weird way!"
Subsequently, Misty was taken to a private room where specialized staff helped her with her custom-made perfume. Ash, meanwhile, let Primeape out. He then asked the female clerks for a few types of incense and let Primeape smell them. "How do you feel, Primeape?"
"Roar!"
Primeape shook its head. Seeing that Primeape didn't like it, Ash swapped it for another one. Finally, after trying many types of incense, Primeape finally found one it was satisfied with. Looking at Primeape, whose mood had completely calmed down with the help of the incense, Ash said, "Primeape, next I'm going to teach you a few things. Memorize them carefully, understand?"
"Roar!"
With its anger completely gone, Primeape calmly looked at Ash and nodded. It then listened to Ash's explanations, while Meowth activated a soundproofing device to prevent anyone from eavesdropping.
After Ash taught the deep breathing method to Primeape, a young girl wearing a kimono walked over.
"Still as gentle as ever with your Pokémon, Ash."
Ash looked at the kimono-clad girl and couldn't help but say, "Erika, is that outfit from the Johto region?"
"Yes, it is. How is it? Looks good, right?" Erika did a little twirl.
Ash nodded and said, "It's alright."
"Ugh, I shouldn't have even asked you. Never mind, you're here to buy goods, right? I've already had someone bring the goods over. Go ahead and inspect them to see if they're what you need."
"Mm, thanks."
Subsequently, under the accustomed gazes of Erika and the female clerks, Ash picked up the flowers one by one and began to smell them.
"This one, I'll take more of it. As for this one, a little less is fine. This one... however much of this one you have, I'll take it all." Ash singled them out one by one, while a female clerk beside him recorded his requests. A girl standing next to Erika couldn't help but remark, "Being a pharmacist is really hard work, huh..."
Erika nodded in agreement and said, "Yes, after all, he needs to carefully distinguish the flowers and medicinal herbs. It's really tough on him to come to Celadon City, considering the recent mixed perfumes are the type he dislikes the most..."
