The chaos in Mary Geoise continued. The explosion Tiger had created in the southeast corner had drawn a large number of guards, making the diversion effective.
However, some CP agents were still conducting internal searches. Rhett's colorless mist enveloped the entire area. Even thin, it was more than enough to locate people.
His figure moved like a ghost through the shadows, searching for traces of the Hancock sisters.
Deep within the western slave cells, the young Boa Hancock tightly held the hands of her two younger sisters, Sandersonia and Marigold, as they desperately tried to escape.
"Sister... I'm scared..." Marigold trembled, tears streaming down her face.
"Don't be afraid!" Hancock gritted her teeth. Though her legs were shaking, she still held her sisters' hands. "This is our chance. If we don't run now, we might never get another opportunity!"
Yet, fate seemed to have no mercy for them.
"Found them!"
A cold voice echoed from the end of the corridor. Three CP agents slowly approached, led by a masked man whose fingertips were wrapped in black Armament Haki.
"Three runaway slaves here," he sneered. "Too bad, you're not getting away."
Hancock's pupils contracted, her heart nearly leaping out of her chest. Instinctively, she stepped in front of her sisters, though her frail frame posed no real threat.
"Sandersonia, Marigold... I'll hold them off. You two run when you get the chance!" she whispered, her voice filled with determination.
"Sister?!"
"Listen to me!"
Hancock suddenly grabbed a chain from the ground and charged at the CP agents!
"Overestimating yourself," the CP agent scoffed, raising his hand—
"Bang!"
Hancock was flung back by an invisible force, crashing into the wall, a trickle of blood escaping the corner of her mouth.
"Sister!!" Sandersonia and Marigold cried out, rushing to her side.
The CP agent stepped closer, his voice icy. "The Celestial Dragons said it's fine to kill them if we can't bring them back."
He raised his hand, his fist coated in black Armament Haki, aiming directly at Hancock's head—
"Die."
"Hey, trash."
A low voice rang out beside the CP agent's ear, cold as if it had come from the depths of hell.
The CP agent froze, but before he could react, a hand wrapped in black-red lightning had already grabbed the back of his neck!
"Who allowed you—"
"Bang!!!"
Rhett gripped his head with one hand and slammed it into the ground! The floor instantly shattered, spiderweb-like cracks spreading to the walls!
The other two CP agents were horrified, immediately assuming combat stances, but in the next moment—
"Mist God Style: Blood Bind."
Blood mist coiled around them, instantly locking their limbs in place! Rhett didn't even glance at them, merely snapping his fingers.
"Crack."
Their necks were twisted by the blood mist, their bodies collapsing to the ground.
Hancock stared blankly at the scene before her, her mind completely blank.
Rhett shook his hand, the blood mist slowly dissipating. He looked down at the three sisters and grinned:
"Hey, kids, you alright?"
Hancock opened her mouth but couldn't make a sound.
In Hancock's small world, CP0 was already incredibly powerful.
She had never seen someone like this—strong and unrestrained.
Sandersonia was the first to react, stammering, "W-who are you?!"
Rhett crouched down, reaching out to ruffle Hancock's hair. The blood mist gently brushed over the wound at the corner of her mouth, instantly stopping the bleeding.
"Me?" He tilted his head, his smile bold. "Let's say I'm a friend of your sister Shakky."
Rhett looked at little Hancock's state, something didn't seem right. Oh well, what do kids know?
Rhett's mist enveloped the three sisters, bringing them close to him. The mist shrouded his surroundings as he leisurely walked through the chaotic battlefield, as if the surrounding carnage had nothing to do with him. He didn't care about the lives of these people.
The mist carried several treasure chests filled with Devil Fruits. Money was something he had no shortage of.
These Devil Fruits were from the Celestial Dragons' homes. They insisted on giving them to him, and when he refused, they simply went to sleep, ignoring him.
With so many Devil Fruits, he'd just hand them over to Tesoro when he got back. He didn't want to get involved—getting involved meant work.
"B-big brother..." Hancock clutched his collar tightly, her voice trembling. "Won't those people... find us?"
Rhett glanced down at her, maintaining his gentle smile. "Find us? Heh, they can't even see us."
As soon as he finished speaking, a CP0 agent charged in their direction. He had eaten the Chacha Fruit, and his Observation Haki was frantically warning him—but in his eyes, everything appeared normal.
"Strange... I sensed something just now—"
"Squelch."
His thoughts came to an abrupt halt.
Rhett didn't even pause his steps, merely raising a finger casually. The CP0 agent's body instantly disintegrated, turning into a pool of blood that seeped into the ground.
"!!!" Hancock's eyes widened.
"Shh." Rhett gently tapped her forehead with his index finger. "Don't be afraid. That's just what happens to bad people."
Sandersonia and Marigold huddled close to him, both fearful and inexplicably reassured. This man's aura was dangerous, yet it made them want to stay near him.
At the center of the battlefield, Tiger was locked in fierce combat with three CP0 agents. The shockwaves from Fish-Man Karate caused the ground to crack.
"Tiger, old friend!" Rhett's voice suddenly came from beside him. "Don't get too caught up in the fight. I'm pulling out!"
Tiger punched back an enemy, laughing loudly. "You take the kids and go! I'll hold them off a bit longer!"
"Tsk, showing off." Rhett shook his head, his pace still unhurried.
Rhett wouldn't linger. He had already killed several strong fighters who could reach the battlefield quickly. If he delayed any longer, the Holy Knights might arrive, and even he could be trapped.
Tiger knew this. Everything was going according to plan, but Tiger had made his own choice, prepared to bear the cost of possibly never leaving.
Rhett wouldn't risk his life for outsiders. Tiger, you truly are the hero here.
A Marine was facing off against a pirate.
"Don't get in my way. I'm the pirate who slaughtered three towns!"
"Click."
Rhett snapped his fingers.
Both men's bodies suddenly stiffened, their pupils contracting violently. In the next moment, spiderweb-like blood vessels appeared beneath their skin, and they returned to the embrace of Mother Earth.
Hancock held her breath, her heart pounding.
She had never seen such elegant slaughter.
No roars, no struggles, not even any unnecessary movements. This man walked as if strolling through a garden, and wherever he passed, enemies turned into pools of blood.
Ginny stumbled out of the shadows of Mary Geoise, the blood mist slowly dissipating behind her. Her breathing was ragged, her chest heaving, her eyes scanning the port urgently—finally, she saw the coated ship and the man standing at the bow, his golden hair faintly glowing in the moonlight.
