Leon's Obsession
Back at the academy, Leon Draven trained alone inside the fire chamber.
Flames exploded around him repeatedly.
His instructor watched silently.
"Your power is growing."
Leon's eyes burned with determination.
"It's not enough."
"I lost to him."
The memory of Kael defeating him in the arena haunted him.
Leon raised his hands again.
Blue fire erupted from his palms.
The flames were hotter.
More violent.
"Next time…"
"I'll win."
