The Hidden Reinforcements
The battle seemed to turn in Kael's favor.
Several hunters were already defeated, and the remaining ones were clearly struggling.
Then suddenly—
A horn echoed through the ruins.
Everyone froze.
More footsteps approached from the tunnels behind the chamber.
Dozens of new Void Hunters entered the battlefield.
Leon groaned.
"You've got to be kidding me."
The hunter captain smiled.
"Did you think we would only send a small group?"
Kael studied the new arrivals carefully.
There were at least thirty more hunters now.
Seraphine stepped closer to him.
"This is bad."
Kael clenched his fist slightly.
The abyss energy inside him reacted violently.
More enemies meant more danger.
But it also meant something else.
More opportunities to grow stronger.
Kael slowly raised his blade again.
"Fine," he said quietly.
"If they want a fight…"
The Abyss Domain expanded again, darker and stronger than before.
"…they'll get one."
