The Arrival
The battlefield inside the ruins had turned into chaos.
Darkness and fire clashed violently as Kael and Leon fought side by side against the overwhelming number of Void Hunters. Bodies lay scattered across the broken stone floor, but more enemies continued to pour into the chamber.
Kael stood at the center of his Abyss Domain, breathing steadily despite the constant fighting. The Abyss Ring pulsed on his finger, feeding him power with every passing second.
Then suddenly—
Everything stopped.
A heavy pressure descended upon the ruins.
Even the Void Hunters froze.
From the entrance of the chamber, a lone figure walked forward slowly.
Tall. Calm. Unshaken.
His armor was unlike the others—older, darker, covered in ancient runes.
The hunter captain immediately stepped back.
"Commander…"
Kael narrowed his eyes.
This man was different.
Far stronger.
The commander stopped a few meters away from Kael and studied him carefully.
"So," he said calmly, "the heir of the Abyss stands before me."
Kael tightened his grip on his blade.
"And you are?"
The man smiled faintly.
"The one who ended your father's empire."
