Once they returned, the academy was placed under strict security.
Barriers were strengthened.
Guards were doubled.
Students were warned not to leave the grounds.
Inside the main hall, Kael met with Professor Valen and the senior instructors.
"You've confirmed it," Valen said seriously.
"The Void Hunters are mobilizing."
Kael nodded.
"They have a commander leading them."
The room fell silent.
"That's bad," one instructor muttered.
Valen looked directly at Kael.
"We may need to move you somewhere safer."
Kael immediately shook his head.
"No."
Valen frowned.
"You don't understand the danger—"
"I do," Kael interrupted calmly.
"If I run, they'll keep chasing me. And more people will get involved."
Seraphine watched him carefully.
"So what's your plan?"
Kael's eyes darkened slightly.
"I get stronger."
