Training with Seraphine
Late that night, Kael stood alone in a secluded training ground behind the academy.

she said, "you need to control your power better."
Kael turned toward her.
"Then teach me."
Seraphine nodded.
"Your Abyss Domain is strong, but unstable.
You rely too much on raw energy."
Kael frowned slightly.
"So what should I do?"
Seraphine raised her hand.
"Focus."
She released a small amount of dark energy.
It was calm.
Controlled.
Precise.
"Power without control is useless against someone like the commander."
Kael closed his eyes.
He activated Abyss Domain again.
But this time, he tried something different.

He compressed it.

"Good."
