Battle in the Sky
The creature suddenly leapt into the air, hovering above the academy.
Its wings—formed from pure dark energy—spread wide.
Students scattered below.
"It's targeting everything!" someone shouted.
Kael activated Shadow Step and appeared mid-air, using abyss energy to stay suspended.
Leon followed, launching himself upward with an explosion of blue flames.
"Let's take it down together," Leon said.
Kael nodded.
The creature attacked again, releasing multiple projectiles of dark energy.
Kael dodged between them with precise movements, while Leon burned several out of the air.
"Go for its core!" Kael shouted.
Leon unleashed a concentrated blast of fire, forcing the creature to block.
In that moment—
Kael appeared directly in front of it.
"Abyss Blade!"
He struck its chest.
The creature roared, but it didn't fall.
Instead—
It grabbed Kael.
