Inside the Gate
The moment they stepped through, the world changed.
The sky disappeared.
The ground beneath their feet turned dark and cracked, as if they were standing on the surface of a dead world.
A cold wind blew across the barren landscape.

"…I don't like this place."
Kael remained silent.
His eyes scanned the surroundings carefully.
This world felt familiar.
Too familiar.
Seraphine stepped beside him.
"This isn't just another realm," she said quietly.
Kael nodded.
"I know."
The abyss energy inside him felt stronger here.
As if this place amplified it.
Suddenly—
A low growl echoed in the distance.
Creatures emerged from the shadows.
More of the same type they had seen before.
But stronger.
Faster.
And far more aggressive.
"Formation!" Valen shouted.
The group prepared for battle.
Kael stepped forward, raising his hand.
"Abyss Domain."
Darkness spread across the battlefield.
The creatures charged.
The battle began instantly.
