Endless Battle
The fight dragged on longer than expected.
Every time they defeated a group of creatures, more appeared from the distance.
It was endless.
Leon unleashed wave after wave of blue flames, burning through enemies with overwhelming force.
"Do these things ever stop coming?!" he shouted.
Kael moved constantly, cutting down enemies with precise strikes. His movements had become sharper, more efficient thanks to his recent training.
But even he could feel it.
This wasn't normal.
"They're not random," Kael said.
Seraphine understood immediately.
"They're guarding something."
Kael looked toward the horizon.
In the distance—
A structure stood.
A massive tower, barely visible through the dark mist.
"That's the source," Kael said.
Valen nodded.
"Then we push forward."
The group began moving as one, cutting through the endless waves of creatures.
The closer they got to the tower, the stronger the enemies became.
Kael's breathing grew heavier.
But he didn't stop.
He couldn't.
Because now he understood something important.
This gate wasn't just another invasion point.
It was a test.
