"Captain, you didn't mishear, right? We're heading to an Intense Magic Zone for this mission," Finral said, excitement mixed with a hint of fear.
He was excited because the Underwater Temple was located in Raquey Town, a place known for its year-round heat, beaches, and plenty of girls.
He was nervous because Intense Magic Zones were unpredictable and dangerous.
Still, with Captain Yami leading, it should be fine. Overall, it sounded like a pretty rewarding mission.
Magna picked his nose. "What the hell is an Intense Magic Zone?"
"You seriously don't know? It's a region where massive mana distorts the natural environment, basically turning it into a special zone."
After a noisy discussion, everyone agreed to depart for Raquey Town in three days.
"Cedric, I don't have a swimsuit yet," Noelle said.
"Then I'll take you to buy one," Cedric replied, lightly pinching her nose as he led her outside.
"Wait, Noelle, why not just use this one?"
Vanessa held up a black string swimsuit that barely counted as clothing.
"Ta-da! What do you think?"
Cedric took one look.
Vanessa, that belongs in a bedroom, not a beach.
Without hesitation, he stored it away. Maybe later, somewhere private.
"It's too revealing. How about I take all of you to buy proper swimsuits?"
Vanessa blinked.
He actually kept it. So he does notice me.
She smirked slightly.
Cedric had strong magic, a decent face, and most importantly, he could drink. Not bad at all.
"Swimsuits? Cedric, I'm coming too, and you're paying," Charmy said.
"Of course, Senior Charmy."
"Grey, are you coming?"
Grey puffed out smoke in her oversized form.
Cedric gave up trying to interpret that.
The four of them rode out on Cedric's Wood Magic dragon.
At this point, the Wood Dragon had truly fallen on hard times.
Swimwear Shop: Water Wool
"Noelle, what about this one?"
Vanessa held up another dangerously revealing swimsuit.
"No, it's too..." Noelle glanced at Cedric, who was grinning like an idiot.
This shop normally didn't allow men, but Cedric had simply paid enough to reserve the entire place.
"Rich people really do whatever they want," the clerk muttered under her breath.
"Cedric, I'll take this one," Charmy said, wearing a blue-and-white striped one-piece.
Cedric looked at her.
Plain. Completely plain.
"Senior, it suits you well."
"Great! I'm going to get shaved ice."
The door chimed as it opened.
A girl wearing a Golden Dawn robe rushed in.
"Mimosa."
"Cousin... Noelle."
Mimosa froze.
Noelle's outfit was already embarrassing enough, and there was a man here too.
"Hey, little lady, didn't you see the 'Private Event' sign?" Cedric said casually.
A sign? Who even looks at signs?
"And who is this?" Mimosa asked cautiously.
Noelle immediately grabbed Cedric's arm and pressed herself against him. "He's your brother-in-law, Cedric."
Cedric felt the soft pressure and smirked slightly but said nothing.
Mimosa's mind went blank.
Brother-in-law?
Since when did the Silva family accept someone like this?
"Be a good girl. Pick whatever you like. Your brother-in-law is paying."
Mimosa frowned.
This man has terrible manners. What does Noelle even see in him?
"Cedric, how do I look in this?"
Vanessa stepped out in black lace, her figure fully on display.
Cedric glanced at her, eyes lingering for a second longer than necessary.
"Vanessa, how is that any different from what you wear at the base?"
Vanessa's eye twitched.
You brat. That one was clearly chosen for you.
"Cedric, I finished my shaved ice. I'm hungry!" Charmy shouted.
Mimosa blinked.

Noelle... what kind of situation is this?
"Go ask for some snacks. We'll eat after this."
"A feast!"
Mimosa immediately pulled Noelle aside.
"Noelle, are you being threatened? Tell me the truth."
Noelle stared at her like she was an idiot.
"Of course not, you dummy."
She tapped Mimosa on the head.
Mimosa winced. "Then why does it look like you're being kept by him?"
Noelle's face turned red.
"Where did you even get that idea?!"
"You're talking nonsense," Noelle snapped, hands on her hips.
Vanessa returned again, wearing another bold outfit.
"You still won't admit it? That woman is obviously his wife. Noelle, how can you act like a mistress so openly?"
Noelle burst out laughing, clutching her stomach.
Cedric's wife?
Vanessa froze, her face turning slightly red.
Why does that sound... nice?
"You're still laughing?!" Mimosa protested.
Cedric stepped in, smirking, "You've misunderstood. I'm just their wallet."
"This pink-haired witch and the short one are my seniors. I'm Cedric, from the Black Bulls."
"Cedric..."
Mimosa's expression darkened instantly.
So this is the guy.
The one who took credit during the dungeon mission and caused all that chaos.
"Yeah? Have we met?"
"No, but I almost died because of you."
Cedric raised an eyebrow.
"That dungeon mission?"
"The Magic Palace? Your squad went too?" Noelle asked.
"Then why didn't we see you? It didn't seem that dangerous. We just went in and came out."
Mimosa went silent.
"I'll remember this, Cedric. Just wait."
She stormed out, then suddenly came back.
Right, swimsuit.
"Clerk, I'll take the most expensive one. He's paying."
She grabbed it and left again.
Finral, who had just arrived late, scratched his head, "Didn't Captain Yami say the Golden Dawn got beaten badly by the Diamond Kingdom there?"
"I forgot," Noelle said casually, sticking out her tongue.
After trying several options, Noelle finally chose a white lace swimsuit.
It hugged her figure just enough to make Cedric's gaze linger.
"Clerk, I'll take everything she tried on."
The clerk's eyes sparkled.
"A total of 536,000 Yul."
After paying, Cedric took everyone out for dessert.
Halfway through, he slipped away and returned to the shop, buying every outfit Vanessa had tried on as well.
When he came back—
"Cedric, where did you go?" Vanessa asked, narrowing her eyes.
"Restroom."
Vanessa smirked, clearly not believing him.
"Noelle, come to my room tonight. I'll teach you how to coordinate outfits, and I'll check your magic too."
Cedric's tone carried a teasing edge.
Noelle froze, her face turning bright red.
Why does that sound so suspicious?
She stared at her cake.
Suddenly, it didn't taste sweet at all.
Maybe... training tonight wouldn't be so bad.
