Ugh, my best friend didn't come to school today and she didn't even tell me that she wouldn't come i only found out when I got to school and texted her asking where she was. If she did tell me I probably would've made up some way of not coming either but obviously she wants me to be all alone surrounded by some of the world's biggest idiots
I sat down alone in the cafeteria looking like a total doofus . I had nothing to occupy myself with except my own thoughts and well my food since for some reason our school was giving out pizza out of the blue
I'm texting Eliza because I have nothing else to do
Avery: I am going to murder you the next time I see you

Eliza: well, my parents are going on a vacay and since im sick they have to drag me with them

Signing i kept my phone down and glared at the populars Savannah, Harper and Chloe. If stares could kill they would be dead right now
"Oh who's this friendless freak" Savannah said savagely
"Just leave me alone ,Savannah " I say rolling my eyes
"Looks like the lonely freak has a big attitude, do you want us to get rid of it?"
Before I could answer she dumped my water on my head and was about to do the same with my lunch before someone came and grabbed her arm and said "didn't you hear her tell you to leave her alone " it was a deep voice so I'm assuming it was a boy she looked like she was about to say something paused and then said "I did hear her but I heard her say she felt hot so I was just helping her" she answered in her flirtatious voice I looked behind her to see my 'savior' to see Noah ,the most popular guy in our high school.I couldn't believe my eyes because out of anyone to be saving me it was Noah

'Anyway why are you sitting alone?'he asks me
'my best friend is sick and now cause she is sick her parents have to take her to vacation with them do I'll be sitting alone here for a long time' i reply
' then if this seat is going to be empty, would you mind if I sit here?' He asks me
' umm, I don't mind but why would you want to sit with a random nobody like me?'I ask

My phone starts buzzing and I see that Eliza's texting me
Eliza: WHAT! Omg girl what happened she didn't try to kill you right!
Eliza: answer me!
Eliza: did she already kill you?!
Avery: no im fine but I gotta tell you a lot of stuff
'Is it okay if I text? I just don't wanna be rude '

Avery: so they marched over to me and then Savannah dumped water over me and was about to do that with my lunch too but Noah came and stopped her and asked me if he could sit here with me till you came and I said yes

I called her and she looked really sick 'oh my god you look so sick ,you are fine ,right?'

I let him face the camera and whisper shout to Eliza 'Eliza say hi'
Eliza looks awkward even on the phone and so does Noah but at least he's smiling 'are you the one who left Avery alone' he asks as a joke as the bell rings and we say bye to Eliza and I cut the call
' which period do you have now? ' he asks me
'Umm I have history now, you?'
'Same! I guess I'll walk you there while I'm at it '
'Oh no need' i say
'I insist' he says ' what if the-let's call them umm the skin walkers come and corner you'
'Well then I'll kick the skin walkers butts'
'Ok argument over I'm walking you there no matter what'
We walked in silence till we got there and it felt like time slowed down- actually it sped up because everyone was parting so that we could walk through but it felt like it slowed down because everyone was staring at us
We actually got there so fast we were the first ones there now I finally know why Noah would never be late to class I guess being popular really pays off.
