As me and Rani saw what was going on we looked at each other and then back at the city a few times as to check if what was happening really was happening.
As I was about to talk I could feel someone behind me putting their hand on my mouth so I couldn't speak. "This is you're chance fake one, you can start over in here, save the people and become their hero."
I quickly looked behind me to see who it was even though I could already tell. "What is looking at me going to do? Now cmon do something about what's happening in the city."
I didn't want to speak out loud to it looked like I was speaking to myself, so I began to talk to the other me with my thoughts. "How are you here? I thought you couldn't reach me."
"I have always been able to reach you, but where is the fun in taking over my body so quickly? I will let you keep my body if you prove you are worthy." He levitated over to me and put his hand on my head. "Start a new life here, with a new name and change you're appearence slightly I don't want you to look like me." as he finished what he was saying he disappeared.
"Hey where did you go!" I yelled out with Rani looking at me with a strange look. "Cmon let's go help this city." As I began walking forward Rani looked at me and spoke up. "Why should we it's not our job to help them and why should we save this city when you didn't want to protect the one you were summoned to."
If Im being honest, I would have tried to help the city even if the other me didn't tell me to, but why, I ran from what I was supposed to protect, so what's the difference here? Or is it me who is different? And am I the real one?
"Because Im a hypocrite who can't make up his mind." I began to run towards the city, but I continued to wonder, was it just because I didn't know the enemy? Was it truly because the other me wanted me to do this that I did it? I had so many questions that I didn't know the answer to, but I finally arrived inside the city and saw the monsters.
It looked like a mix of the typical orc's and goblin's attacking the city with one specific orc wearing armor in the middel of them all, but that wasn't my first priority I saw some citizens being attack by goblins.
I quickly ran towards them smashing one of the goblins skulls and kicking the other goblin in the head sending it's head flying off it's body.
"Please find some guards to protect you." I guide the people quickly away from where a monster was and quickly ran back towards the monsters to try to get rid of more of them.
I quickly ran past all the monsters to hit the orc with armor on from behind, but my attack did nothing and made the orc quickly turn around and swat me to the side into a building.
I quickly stood up in someones kitchen, with my arm having healed already, and walking towards the orc, but before I could even get out of the building there was a blade to my neck behind me and a voice. "Who are you? And what are you doing here?"
"I'll tell you later, but Im guessing you're this kingdoms summon right? And if you are you should help me take down that orc, I only want to help."
The voice behind me stopped talking and then said. "Distract the orc so I can get a hit on it from above and kill it in 1 hit." As the voice said that it disappeared.
I walked out of the building to face the monsters head on, as some of the monsters charged towards me I jumped on to one of the orcs heads and made a jump towards the orc in armor.
I landed on it's head and tried to take it's helmet off without any luck, even with all my strenght I couldn't pull it off, but the orc quickly managed to grab my leg and slam me into the ground.
But then I heard the sound of a familiar voice. "Captain!" And I saw Rani running past the monster slashing some of them with her sword to reach me. "Rani get the helmed off this orc!" I quickly grabbed on to the orcs arm it had used to slam me into the ground with.
As Rani got the momentum to reach the orc by jumping on a goblins head she quickly reached the orcs head and used all her strenght into hitting the orcs helmed on the side to break it open and she did manage to open up a hole on the helmet, but in the progress breaking her sword.
But the orc quickly recovered and grabbed Rani around her waist and threw Rani down into the ground, but before she landed I let go of the orcs arm and caught Rani before she hit the ground.
The orc turned to look at us and raised it's arm to slam down on us, but before it could someone appeared and stabbed it through the hole in the helmet killing it in a single hit.
As the orc fell down and all the other monsters ran in fear I could finally see what the person looked like, he had white hair that was shiny in the sun that is going down right now, he looked down at the orc and muttered something and then looked back at me and Rani.
"You're not a normal person and she called you captain right, which means you're probably a summon and you're from a different kingdom, so tell me why are you here and tell me your name."
