Jonathan's POV
Harmon Designs - President's Office - An hour later
"Nicky?" I said as she walked in.
"Jonathan?" She was shocked, and surprised to see me in her office, or so I thought.
"Why are you sitting there?" She asked as I was seated in the chair across from hers as always.
"Jonathan," she said, sounding cute.
"You're the one who makes me sit in that seat even when you're here,"
"Now I wasn't, you should sit there," she said, gesturing to the president chair.
"There were some orders to be signed and you weren't here, so I had to fill in,"
"Oh, I had a meeting with Alex…"
She suddenly turned around.
"I met him because—"
"Nicky," I said, calmly. "I didn't question you, why are you so tense?"
"Are you alright?" I was worried as for some reason something felt off about her.
She was looking normal, and calm,
Yet..
There was something not normal.
Four years of dating and sixteen years of marriage, I can notice even the slightest change in her behaviour.
