Yesterday night was a traumatic night.
With the message, and having to send the Blue Heart to the vault.
I truly felt like my mother was leaving us.
I was reviewing some files, and my gaze fell on Alex's contract file.
A pathetic laugh escaped my lips.
"I surely have a lot to learn," I said to myself.
"Jonathan didn't like him from the beginning,"
"But I got so fantasized by his international image,"
"A fox in sheep skin."
The once promising partnership now was nothing more than a trap in my eyes.
I took the cancel seal and marked the file.
"Hello," I said on the phone to my secretary. "I've cancelled the Alex Vale contract, send it back."
Just then Jonathan entered and saw the file.
He also noticed my expression.
"I hope you're not bringing personal into business,"
"Jonathan," I said, smiling.
"You're the only one with whom I can combine business with pleasure,"
