We had spent weeks on the designs.
I even set up a separate desk for Veronica so she could work on the sketches.
Even now her desk was covered with sketches.
She had spent weeks refining the sketches.
Every time she would refine one, I would review it to see if it could work as a real item.
By the end of the second week,
She was able to tell on her own if the sketch could transform into a real item or not.
I was happy as each piece that she sketched carried something from Veronica's paintings.
The curves were flawless like her brushstrokes.
Textures layered like colors on her canvases.
The unexpected combination of stones, the same as unexpected combination of colors.
Nothing looked like the typical Harmon or Rollings collection.
I realized she wasn't just sketching a new collection.
She was translating her feelings into another language.
After reviewing the final sketches, I was proud of her.
