As I disconnected Vance's call, I pulled the folder out with my mother's letters.
The breach forced me to reconsider the danger my mother was hiding me away from.
I had already been through them to know what I've inherited or gotten myself into.
But now I was wondering if there was something I may have skipped.
I don't know why, but the moment I opened the folder, I felt like I missed out on a major matter.
Probably something important.
I opened the folder and began studying them again.
I carefully went through each one again.
So far it was the same…
Family history, property deeds, information related to the River inheritance, and family member records.
I picked the first folder and was about to place it aside so I could check the other one…
An envelope fell out.
"What?" I said as it fell to the ground.
"How come I didn't see this before?"
I opened the envelope and studied the content.
