It had been days since we were at home after the breach as Jonathan told Daniel to take me and the kids over to his place.
"So, you're saying mother prepared or left a sort of protection that protects the River family and those near to you?" I asked.
"Yes," Jonathan said.
"She said it's in my birth folder,"
"I don't know what exactly it is,"
"But it's not another location or a vault,"
"It's something that once I activate…will protect everyone of us."
"It's a sort of family protection that is connected to the River family.
I felt relieved and assured but I also could feel an immediate sense of consequence as well.
"So how do we use this protection?"
"I don't want to sound—"
"Nicky," Jonathan said.
"You should sound worried and alerted,"
"It's our family,"
"And though they came for the Blue Heart,"
"I can't deny if we were home, had someone come downstairs at the time…"
"Maybe one of us could have been hurt."
