Hayden was completely shaken.
Yet across from him, Arthur looked as though he had merely done something trivial.
Lowering his hand, he tilted his head slightly and smiled calmly.
"Why create distance?"
"You wield a sword. If you wish to cut me down, you should be closing in."
"Or perhaps…"
"You're worried I still possess some unknown attack you haven't seen yet?"
"If that's the case, then your concern is unnecessary."
"Because… if I wished…"
"Universal Pull."
The moment the words left his lips, the very air seemed to tremble.
Arthur casually raised his arm.
An overwhelming gravitational force instantly enveloped Hayden and violently dragged him toward Arthur.
"Th-This… how is this possible?!"
Hayden's face turned pale with shock.
He struggled desperately, trying to break free from the invisible force.
But every effort was futile.
All he could do was helplessly watch himself being pulled closer and closer to Arthur.
"Damn it!"
"If that's the case, I'll stake everything on this strike!"
Hayden gritted his teeth.
Instead of resisting the pull, he used the momentum to charge straight at Arthur.
His blade tore through the air with a piercing howl as he slashed downward with all his might.
But just as he was about to reach Arthur—
"Shinra Tensei."
Arthur spoke softly.
The gravitational force acting on Hayden instantly flipped into a repulsive shockwave.
Hayden's body froze in midair.
His eyes widened in disbelief.
Then—
PFFFT!!
A mouthful of blood mixed with fragments of internal organs burst from his lips.
Every bone in his body seemed to scream in agony.
Like a rag doll caught in a hurricane, he was violently blasted away.
"You see?"
Arthur slowly lowered his arm.
A harmless-looking smile rested on his face.
"With just that much…"
"I can defeat you effortlessly."
Clang.
Hayden's sword spun through the air before stabbing into the ground.
Thud.
His body crashed heavily onto the earth.
Blood poured from his mouth as he stared upward in disbelief.
"H… how…"
"The gap between us… is this… great…"
As if his last strength had been drained away—
Hayden's body finally went limp.
His eyes remained wide open.
Then darkness took him.
Chaos at the Harbor
"AAAAAH!!!"
Bang! Bang! Bang!
BOOM! BOOM!
"MOOOOOO!!!"
Gunfire.
Explosions.
Human screams.
The monstrous roars of the beast.
The harbor had become a living nightmare.
The giant rhinoceros rampaged through Marine ranks like an unstoppable force.
Bullets struck its body like harmless raindrops.
They couldn't even pierce its hide.
Even rockets and heavy weapons only left scorched marks.
Every charge from the rhinoceros sent Marines flying—or crushed them into bloody pulp.
Chaos.
Panic.
Terror.
These emotions spread rapidly through the Marine forces.
"Fire the cannons!!"
"Open fire immediately!!!"
At that moment—
The six warships anchored along the coast finally responded.
Under the adjutant's command, Marines quickly operated the artillery.
One after another—
Massive cannons rotated toward the giant rhinoceros.
Then—
BOOOOOOM!!!
BOOOOOOM!!!
BOOOOOOM!!!
Shell after shell roared through the air and exploded against the monster.
Flames erupted across its massive body.
Unlike bullets and rockets—
Naval artillery possessed terrifying destructive power.
Six warships firing simultaneously could easily destroy a small town.
The violent explosions engulfed the rhinoceros entirely.
Although its hide remained intact—
The sheer shockwaves forced its massive charging body to halt.
"MOOOOOO!!!"
The rhinoceros roared furiously.
Its enormous body trembled as it struggled forward against the bombardment.
"It stopped!!"
"That monster finally stopped moving!!"
"The cannons are working!"
"Keep firing! Don't stop!!"
"All units aim for the head!!"
Seeing the beast momentarily suppressed by artillery, the Marines aboard the warships cheered in excitement.
They fired even more fiercely.
Meanwhile, the Marines on the harbor finally breathed a small sigh of relief.
Under their squad commanders' orders, they quickly spread out and surrounded the rhinoceros, focusing their attacks on its head.
The roar of artillery echoed across the harbor like thunder.
Yet amidst the chaos—
No one noticed something.
Not far away on the ground lay Hayden's corpse, his face frozen in disbelief.
And nearby—
A pair of calm purple Rinnegan eyes silently observed everything.
They belonged to Arthur.
"Hm…"
"So with enough numbers…"
"Modern weapons really are quite formidable."
Arthur smiled faintly while watching the rhinoceros endure the bombardment.
But he wasn't worried.
As a summoned beast of the Rinnegan's Animal Path, it could not truly die unless Arthur himself fell.
"Still…"
"This can't go on forever."
"So let's add another one."
His gaze shifted briefly toward the six warships still firing relentlessly.
Then Arthur began forming hand seals.
His blood-stained right hand slammed onto the ground again.
"Summoning Jutsu!"
BOOM!!!
A massive cloud of white smoke exploded outward.
The Marines instinctively turned toward the noise.
The moment they saw what emerged—
Their faces turned pale.
From within the smoke—
A gigantic crimson claw extended outward.
Then—
A colossal lobster, even larger than the rhinoceros, burst forth and charged forward.
"A… a lobster?!"
"How is that thing so huge?!"
"What's going on?!"
"Another monster just appeared!!"
"We can't win!"
"There's no way we can win this!!"
"RUN!!!"
The Marine ranks collapsed instantly.
Faced with the approaching monstrous lobster, they abandoned their attacks on the rhinoceros and scattered in panic.
"AAAAAH!!!"
The giant lobster swung its massive claws.
Nearly a hundred Marines were instantly sent flying through the air.
Yet the creature showed no interest in chasing them.
Instead—
It rushed straight toward the shoreline.
And without hesitation—
Leapt into the sea.
