TIER 24: DEVIL
Ru-un makes a move. He sees Tarkak blocking him, but he doesn't back down because Tarkak knows Ru-un will retreat, so he also makes a move, but Ru-un blocks him. But actually, all of this is just in Tarkak and Ru-un's minds and eyes. Neither of them has moved an inch. Tarkak's vision blurs, and before he can say, "When I have knowledge of my surroundings-" he realizes his knowledge is clouded. "W-What's happening!? Just as I can't interfere with your vision, you shouldn't be able to interfere with my knowledge!" he shouts anxiously. "What happened? Can't you think? There's a balance to what we call as soul... Knowledge and Vision... I know what I see indirectly, don't I? Similarly, you can't know what you know without seeing it in your mind... Tarkak. Wake up! This devil knows nothing in the name of Eqia!" Ru-un says. "NEVER! THIS IS MY KINGDOM! THIS IS MY BODY!" "I will never go back to that void again!" Tarkak exclaims, his voice beginning to crack. "Ah, I understand, void. According to Monfel, you don't belong to this dimension. Devil... So you came from outside. Monfel's account... That you were painted pure black, that you erased the place you were in... Your power wasn't invulnerability or anything like that... It was void! You were born from pure void and you carry the power of pure void! Perhaps the reason we can't sense it is because you never existed..." Ru-un says. The devil finally emerges from Tarkak's mouth. Just like in Monfel's account, it leaves a black trail behind it. Tarkak's body falls. "So that devil is you. I'm not very pleased to have met you, after all, you took my friend and then the entirety of my people." Ru-un says. He blinks and notices something in his eyes. The parts of Ru-un's vision that saw the places the devil erased have been erased. The moment he understands, he fixes his eyes on the devil, moving his gaze wherever the devil moves. He carefully monitors his distance to avoid further loss of vision and glances into the future. But the demon is not in the future Ru-un sees. Ru-un is frozen... The devil attacks. It's clear it's trying to inflict precise cuts, though not very quickly. But Ru-un dodges each time, never taking his eyes off it. The demon begins to speak. It speaks on a very strange frequency. It doesn't resemble any coding or other technique used before. Suddenly, it speaks the native language of the Baz they are in; in a broken, deep voice. "I... Name... Larrdanorr... You... Name... What..." it says. Ru-un doesn't even open his mouth. He prepares himself even more, as he has lost so much of his vision. Larrdanorr speaks again, this time more coherently. "I understand... Clever man." it says. Larrdanorr begins to approach, Ru-un moves away. As Tarkak's body turns to dust, Ru-un and Larrdanorr pace the room, their eyes locked. Ru-un thinks, "Attacking is too risky. If it can erase the power of my Eqia, it can erase the Eqia itself too. I can't risk it... That thing is not in the future or the past I've seen... I don't know what it'll do, so I'm having trouble reacting... Who knows what else you're hiding?!" He pauses. "Larrdanorr! My name is Ru-un! I am the king of Karamistar! I didn't come here to defeat Tarkak, the king of Harutyk. Your presence was already foretold to me. My aim was to defeat you! But I want you to know, I didn't come here alone. I am with very powerful people, and I swear I will bury you here and avenge both Harutyk and Karamistar! Even if I can't, those outside will! Look carefully at where I stand, you disgusting filth..." Larrdanorr, seemingly unaffected by the speech, approaches where Ru-un is, beside Tarkak's corpse. "I'll take Tarkak's Eqia and defeat you, watch!" he shouts, taking the Knowledge Eqia... but it turns to dust. A blow Larrdanorr strikes Ru-un's chest creates a hole in it. "Did you think I was a fool? You're the fool, you existing being. I destroyed his Eqia as I left this man's body. Of course, I left the outside like this to fool your dysfunctional brain. Remember... I am a devil..." Larrdanorr says. Ru-un looks at Larrdanorr and goes blind... Larrdanorr slowly removes its hand from Ru-un's chest, and Ru-un falls to his knees. "I can't see... I'm completely blind..." Ru-un thinks. He can't move. With his last ounce of strength, Ru-un screams, "DO WHATEVER YOU WANT, BUT DON'T LOOK AT THE DEVIL!" At that moment, Monfel, Jamz, Vahura, and Edy enter, but it's too late. Ru-un is lying on the ground, dissolving. They all instantly close their eyes. Monfel shouts, "Vahura, now!" Vahura transforms the palace into a thick cube, and Monfel teleports the cube directly into the Sacred Void via a portal. He grabs the Vision Eqia flying towards them, and Vahura destroys the cube. Monfel gives the Eqia to Edy and says, "Protect yourself!" Due to the power of the Vision Eqia, Edy momentarily loses consciousness, and his movements become sluggish for a second. Finally, Vahura and Edy are astonished to see the Sacred Void. "Monfel! You said this was our last chance, didn't you? The power of my Eqia is a wish. It grants three wishes. We all wished, you wish too!" Edy says to Monfel. Monfel, without thinking, says, "Then I wish your body was like ours, you don't look cool like this!" he says, laughing. "Don't worry, we'll win. I wouldn't enter a battle where I might lose!" he concludes. Edy's body takes shape, assuming the form of an Evor "After we destroy this devil, we'll have a drink, shall we?" he says to Monfel. Monfel replies with, "We'll see." and they look at Larrdanorr, but the same thing that happened to Ru-un doesn't happen. "Ru-un seemed to have said not to look." Jamz says. Edy immediately interjects, "I see... This colorful place is limiting his powers... Most likely, what happened to Ru-un is invalid here." With complete nothingness in its voice, Larrdanorr says in Luwdes-Vun's mind, "I haven't met any of you, have I? I am Larrdanorr. I am a being made of nothingness and illogicality. The place I come from is where everything that doesn't exist is present, but nothing exists, where technical or logical elements cannot exist. Nice to meet you..." Vahura says without thinking, "We're not very pleased!" all the others looks at him then he says, "What?" in confusion. After turning back to Larrdanorr, Jamz says, "I don't think it's possible to kill you! Therefore, we'll send you back to where you came from!" At that moment, Monfel whispers something into each of their ears individually and takes his place. They all nod their heads, and Jamz says, "Let's begin then, Luwdes-Vun!" All four take their stances and wait. Vahura opens his seal, and all four attack from different locations. Larrdanorr, thinking he will not be harmed, stands still and takes every blow. He tries to retreat because of the pain he feels for the first time, but they don't give up. Finally, he begins to retaliate and creates a hole in Edy's left shoulder. Vahura pushes Edy away, but Larrdanorr passes Monfel and Jamz, then begins to fly towards Edy to kill him. Vahura creates a triangle and uses it as a projectile, but Larrdanorr easily dodges it. He creates a rectangular wall and, holding his palms together, creates thousands of triangles per second. As Larrdanorr pierces the rectangular wall, he feels millions of triangles exploding in his head. Millions of triangles piercing his entire body still cannot stop Larrdanorr. Larrdanorr, with its riddled body, tears through Vahura and Edy's bodies... "EDY! I WISH YOU WOULD HEAL US! EDY!" Vahura cries, but Edy has lost consciousness. Monfel and Jamz arrive. Larrdanorr rises and recovers its body. "Did you really think it would be this easy?" it says, and small Larrdanorrs from all the Baz come and merge with the main Larrdanorr. Larrdanorr looks sharper and is definitely more powerful... Jamz cuts and absorbs Edy's body with Obisad. "Repeat your wish, Vahura!" he says. Vahura makes his wish, and his body heals. He takes the Eqia of Vision that flies towards him and squeezes it fiercely. "Monfel, we still have one wish." Jamz says. Monfel nods and turns to Vahura. "Vahura... If I die, absorb both of my Tes." Monfel says. Vahura, though surprised, shows understanding and looks at Jamz. "For Edy." he says. Jamz replies, "For Edy..." Jamz attacks faster than usual. Larrdanorr takes all the blows but nothing happens. Jamz stretches and strikes, turns and strikes, trying to inflict maximum damage in every way possible. But suddenly, everything goes dark. No one can move, and a few seconds of humming sounds are heard... When the blindness passes, Obisad is split in two. Larrdanorr is behind the trio. The moment they turn around, the same thing happens again, and Monfel's spears shatter. Vahura traps Larrdanorr in a sphere, and they put distance between themselves. "It's like we're screwed..." Jamz says mockingly. The others laugh at Jamz's laughter, saying, "It seems so." Larrdanorr teleports to Jamz's side and, with a reaction speed faster than any other being, grabs Jamz by the throat, hurls him away, and simultaneously grabs both Monfel and Vahura, pulling them towards him and kicking them in the abdomen, sending them flying in opposite directions. He chooses Monfel as the strongest and pursues him, determined to eliminate him first. Jamz, with every bone in his body shattered, watches Vahura's body float away, unable even to move his mouth.
